TONI&GUY Gosforth opened in 2012. As a salon we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of customer service to each and every client. Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice and create hair that is individual and easy to live with, interpreting fashion trends with versatile wearable styles. Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious Wella Master Colour Expert accolade- their knowledge and expertise are on hand to advise you on the latest colours and techniques. We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair and the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m and Moroccan Oil to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit. For more information on our services please speak to our friendly reception team who will be happy to help. PARKING Our nearest car park is across the road on the opposite side of the salon, behind the shops. It's 30p an hour, maximum 2hours but we will top up your parking for you if we run over whilst in the salon. Sam and kim have done an amazing job toning down my bleached out locks to a ombre colour and the blonde is alot more classy
Kims blowdry fonished of the experience and complimented the colour very well !!!

A new look for autumn

Today I went to see Matthew and Kim for a coliur (half head of lowlights) and cut. I really wanted a change but wasn't sure about which colour to go for. Matthew was as brilliant as ever at giving advice and suggesting what might look best with my hair. Kim also listened to what I wanted re the cut and also gave me great advice re the length. I am really happy with my new look for autumn. I really trust Matthew and Kim with my hair and always feel like they provide an excellent service.

Normally great but this visit was disappointing

I grabbed a last minute appointment - my regular stylist was off but I was desperate so took what was available. I had grown out a very short style my regular stylist cut in December, and had a very short, slightly asymmetric bob to about my jaw line. I am 8 months pregnant and decided to go back to short hair for ease once baby arrives.
Firstly, the receptionist was very welcoming and professional, the hairdresser was friendly - the issue I have is not the service, the branch is always clean, professional, polite and generally lovely - it's the fact that I showed pics of the desired style (from three different angles) and agreed a length with my stylist but have ended up with a significantly shorter style (it's less than half the length we agreed) that I am incredibly unhappy with. The crown is so short it doesn't even lie flat, just sticks up - and the back is so short the stylist had to scissor over comb it to finish it off - there wasn't enough hair for her to hold. T

I switched to Toni and Guy following a recommendation. I can't recommend Gabriel enough. I always get a thorough consultation, she listens to what I like and gets to know my style. Both Sam and Matthew are excellent colourists too.

Sarah on reception greets you with a smile and I am always made to feel welcome.

I look forward to my appointments at Toni and Guy. Such a lovely experience and worth every every penny.

Very Friendly Staff! Well Greeted, appointment given in a very short span! Dealt with right on time.
Matthew the hair dresser, has Very Good customer management skills, found out what I wanted and helped me exactly, checked throughout he was doing the hair cut as I wanted.

After a careful consultation, my hair was coloured and cut exactly as I hoped. I've been to sooo many hairdressers both locally and in other places I've lived trying to find 'the one'. I've found it finally and in pleased to say that it isn't the most expensive.

PARKING Our nearest car park is across the road on the opposite side of the salon, behind the shops. It's 30p an hour, maximum 2hours but we will top up your parking for you if we run over whilst in the salon.
