Brilliant service, friendly staff and I have fabulous hair

I have been coming to this salon since last spring and am very impressed. Amy who does my hair is a lovely girl very helpful and professional. She has a lot of skills and takes her time when she’s doing my hair. Best hairdresser I have had in a long time.

The shampoo and sprays GMHair use smell gorgeous, the cuts are always exactly what I ask for and I absolutely trust their judgement every time.

Great staff who always make me feel welcome. Michelle is an amazing hairdresser too. Can recommend this salon wholeheartedly xxx thank you xxx

I am rubbish with hair. Up until I went to GM I used to get my hair cut only when I looked too much like a birds nest. Now I get it cut regularly and Emma has coached me through finding a style I can maintain well. It looks glossy and healthy and like a normal persons hair! More than a hair cut. Like a hair-Ducation

GM Hair I’d a great salon. Emma cuts my hair and she’s a really talented hairdresser. Her cuts have great precision and my hair always looks gorgeous.

This was my 1st visit but not my last. Greeted by Naomi who was very friendly offered assistance (I am disabled) but allowed my independence. It was all i wanted for my 1st entrance through the door. Met Emma the stylist who was going to cut my hair.
I was very pleased with the attention Emma gave to my hair which hadn't been cut for over 1yr. Result great

I moved to the coast and initially struggled to find a salon to match the one I left in Jesmond but G&M are brilliant. Emma is great at colour and cut and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Would highly recommend.

Once again Michelle has worked her magic and performed a fab haircut. I like to wear it short as I have rather unruly hair but I always come away feeling very happy ? great salon Michelle and Gemma are the best and wonderful happy staff!

I was recommended M&G salon by my cousin (who always has beautiful hair). My stylist was Naomi, from the very first phone call to stepping out of the salon, Naomi was fantastic. She really listened to what I wanted (foils and restyle), took the time and was very attentive. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will certainly be back. I love my hair style. This was my first haircut after some experiments in lockdown. Just a tidy up but Laura was great, everything was covid safe, and my hair is lush- would highly recommend

I've had Emma and Gemma and both wonderful hairdressers. You feel listened to and cared for. I've only had a few hairdressers in my time (I'm 44) but they're the first salon that combine high skills and experience with genuine interest and care.
They WANT you to be happy with the end style. Every time I go, I never feel rushed. Styling is a complicated business and I feel these women are breaking down the walls between Stylists and us that need styling! I have short hair and only ever get a wet cut but I have to go frequently and find value in that.
