I have been going to Browns for many years, as have several of my friends. We are never disappointed, Matt is an excellent stylist and really cares about the customer experience and satisfaction.
As always a great treat going to Browns! Staff are great and I always feel a million dollars when I come out! A big thank you for the party hair which was only decided half way through my hair being done! Terri is a star!

I had a first class razor cut with Terri. It is so hard to find someone who cuts with a razor and also knows what suits her clients. Excellent. I was delighted. The staff in Browns are always friendly and welcoming.

I can yo the salon with a picture. I have asked the hairdresser to replicate the cut which he did very well. However, it did not completely fit to my face and I have asked for him to made some adjustments which he performed again very well. I am delighted with the service! Thank you!!

Walk in appt on Mothering Sunday. Very pleasant young lady on reception. Very helpful ExplIned the pricing structure especially only a senior stylist available. Lovely salon nice friendly stylist. Would use again if in area.

My experience as always was fab at Browns. Staff are always friendly and a great service.
After a long wait to get my hair cut, Browns was the only place for me. Looked after brilliantly by Matt, the owner who not only re- styled my hair expertly but also got me a welcome coffee.
My wife then joined us, received a lovely cuppa and a generous bag of goodies for her charity. Matt Brown is a great guy and an excellent hairdresser who runs a business he can be rightly proud of.

go there a few years ago but moved out of the area so went somewhere else for a while - last year I wasn't happy with my hair so decided to go back to Browns and I'm so happy I did! Laura is so lovely and is the best at colour, being a very dark brown it's not easy but she gets it spot on! Owner Matt is gorgeous very funny and has tons of experience! I highly recommend them!/

Talented stylists and a very friendly atmosphere
A visit to Browns is a pleasure. The service at reception is prompt and friendly and the waiting area is well stocked with magazines if you have time to spare. There is always a consultation which is really informed and great feedback if you have your own ideas. Tea coffee and spa water is offered when you take your seat and every hair wash includes a head massage on a recliner chair which adds to the relaxation. My stylist today was Bea who is very dynamic with lots of suggestions if you want to update or remodel yourself, for both cut and colour. The only reason I rated value as 4/5 is because hair styling by most hairdressers in this area is quite expensive but there are different stylists at various price levels so you can take your pick . The salon is spacious and comfortably heated with a pleasant ambiance.

I have been going to Browns for over ten years,I wouldn't let anyone other than Mat cut my hair! I tried several well known high street chains before and was never happy. The difference with Browns is the staff really take the time to listen to what you want. I have even had people ask me where I get my colour done and referred them to Bea at Browns and they too are now regular customers.

Lara had not dealt with Afro hair before but she was willing to try and she did an excellent job!! She had a lovely attitude and was keen to be sure she was meeting my expectations. Would highly recommend her and Terry who has done the same for me in the past.

Had hair cut by Laura today. Great cut and she both listened to what I wanted and suggested some ideas of her own to give me a really funky cut. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone who wants something a bit different as well as a good quality cut
