I came back on here to say that I couldn’t be happier with the job Emily and Sophie did. After having a bit of a disappointing experience the first time they blended my bleached hair to a lovely natural blonde and did such an amazing job, better than I could’ve imagined or asked for. It totally regained my trust in the brand and the incredible employees. I will not hesitate to go back again, they were extremely patient and professional and very comforting throughout the experience. A huge thank you to the team at Toni and guy for fixing my hair and being so understanding, patient and lovely.

This was the first time I had been to Toni and guy and my experience was truly disappointing. I wanted to have my brown hair bleached to a natural blonde with some shadow roots coming through. Following a consultation with a very friendly hair stylist I was left to believe that my request was absolutely doable. She went through the way she would go about it we looked at pictures and had an in depth conversation and it all sounded as if she totally understood what I wanted and I left feeling reassured that day. The person doing my hair however was different which did not make a bunch of sense to me but I tried my best to explain what was agreed on. I was told that what I wanted would look weird and I thought that maybe the stylist really knew what they were doing and I swallowed my wishes and a lot of what the consultation had left me hoping for and quietly agreed. Four hours later I was left with yellow hair and three inches of my natural brown roots being abruptly cut off by really jarring bright yellow blonde with patches through the sharp border. After my hair was blow dried I was on the verge of tears. When the hair stylist asked me how I felt about it I said that this was neither was I had hoped for not better as she promised. She then advised me to book another appointment and said she would not lighten any of the dark roots but instead she would dye my blonde hair darker which also didn’t make sense to me and neither was it the look I had asked for. I reluctantly booked the appointment for the following week however I have been left worried about it. I have managed to tone down the yellow with purple shampoos and masks however I am quite anxious about what my next appointment has in store for me as I have lost a lot of my faith in the brand and depending on the outcome next time I might not go back again. I am gutted my experience and results were so different to most people’s here as the state of my hair has left me extremely disappointed and quite frankly embarrassed of my new hairstyle.

Emily did such a fantastic job on my hair colour, just what I wanted, thankyou!

Normally go with Jason, but this time with *****. It didn’t go well and I’m unhappy with the result. He was cutting my hair like I’ve never seen any other hairdresser has cut before (the Parting, drying etc) when I said I didn’t like it he was a bit defensive. Won’t be going back with him and probably not to the salon again sadly.

I enjoyed my salon experience. I do wish I had pressed signing up for rewards BEFORE she rung me up as £45 to cut off dead ends from my hair which was a lot to not even get the rewards for it. I do wish there was a service for getting ends trimmed in between cuts as many salons offer. I don’t usually take advantage of it at them, but seeing as I didn’t want to lose my length I would have done so on this occasion...

Professional service with friendly staff and a fantastic Keratin treatment which successfully straightens my wayward hair

Always love coming to see Karen, she’s an incredible hair dresser! really listens to what you wants and understands how to cut hair for your hair type. I can’t find anyone as good as her, so I travel down from London especially.

As always all staff were welcoming and professional. They took particular care to make sure that the clients had drinks in this exceptional heat and moved us nearer to the one air conditioning unit whenever a chair there became available.

Great experience from start to finish. Lovely head massage from the fab trainee too. The Godalming branch is without question the best hair salon (and Toni and Guy salon) environment I’ve experienced. Fab vibe and super friendly, upbeat atmosphere.

I get my hair coloured regularly at Toni and Guy. Emily the colourist always listens to me and my colour is always exactly as I want it. The salon is calm and relaxing, the staff are friendly, but also leave you in peace if you want it too. Unlike many salons a hair colour appointment also includes a blow dry. Very pleased. Also had a cut today with Becky that was brilliant. Thanks guys.

Chloe always cuts my hair and does a great job. I have however come home with a soaking wet t shirt for the second time due to the hair wash. Chloe did her best to dry it with a hair drier.

I’m impressed every time I go to Toni & Guy, Godalming. The standard is extremely high, and the service is incomparable to any other salon. They are very experienced and professional, achieving outstanding results each time. Sophie is diligent and skilled, while Hannah is attentive and professional. It’s so important to listen to the customer while providing expert advice, and this is what they excel in!
