I first visited Owen about a year and a half ago. I was feeling really fed up with my hair and I felt no one could handle it. Owen’s techniques, experience and advice has always been spot on for me and my hair. I have thick hair, exercise a lot so it can be dry, and am really fussy about colour. Another fabulous colour from the Maestro Owen. Instead of simply low lighting my sun bleached hair which would have taken way more time, likely damaged my hair and cost me a lot more Owen cleverly painted triangles of my root colour under specific sections of hair.. The guy is a genius and I love it.

Discovering Owen at Elysios has been one of the biggest game changers of my life! How often do you come across a hairdresser who majored in Chemistry so knows exactly what they’re talking about?! I have a life long allergy to all hair dyes but rather than turning me away as untreatable, Owen took on the challenge to find a solution. And he did! Now my hair is back to looking luscious and glamorous every time I step out of the salon!

If you have blonde hair and that ‘natural’ white that happens as you age … Owen has figured out how to cover it naturally and NOT have to colour your hair bi-weekly! All with natural highlights and no regrowth!

With a Chemistry Masters (and a couple of other degrees) under his belt, it’s no exaggeration to say with Owen and team you are in skilled hands when it comes to colouring less than straightforward hair. With previous colourists I’d inevitably end up with an unnatural and let’s face it age revealing copper hue after a few sessions but with Owen’s qualification backed understanding of hair and hair colouring products I can safely say this has never been an issue. I’m actually surprised Elysios doesn’t have paparazzi permanently sat outside poised to snap the steady stream of instagram ready luscious locks that swish out the salon, turning heads as they go on their ‘couldn’t be happier’ way.

Owen has created such a lovely and relaxed environment in his salon, whilst always providing the best results. His passion for hairdressing is consistently apparent in each and every appointment (you'll get a bitesize science lesson here and there!). Owen is a fantastic hairdresser. I trust his opinion and he tailors what he does based on astute observations (e.g. changing the layering at the back based on the fact that I let it grow quite long between visits).
He also tried out his new GHDs that dry the hair while straightening, which has left my hair lovely and shiny.
All of the staff are friendly, especially Mica, and the salon is beautiful. Always a pleasure going to Elysios.

This is my second time at the salon. D before very impressed by the friendly yet professional approach from the team Owen sat and went through with me what I thought I wanted and what would work for my lifestyle. He then. Made suggestions but all with my agreement. End result I came out looking and feeling like a brand new woman, but with a styleI can totally manage at home. The salon has a relaxing atmosphere it is bright and modern and clean. The coffee is always welcome as is the way you are made to feel. I am an Elysios convert!!
