I’m a Korean and I wanted to get a kind of Korean hair cut styling. It was quite particular demand but

After not being happy with my recent haircut I visited Academy in Claygate and spoke to Christine about what I wanted. Christine listened carefully and assured me she will do her best to achieve that. To my surprise Christine transformed my hair from being fine, limp and lifeless to bouncy hair with body and fullness. I have not had my hair feel like this since my 30s, I am in my 50s. To my amazement my hair still looks great with more body and fullness 3 days after my cut & blowdry. Christine is a real gem, she is one of the more expensive hairdressers but definitely worth every penny!!!

Ive got very long, thick hair and have always wanted a ‘blowout’ but at every other salon I’ve been talked into just having my hair curled with straighteners (I assume because it’s easier and takes less time). Sinead asked what I wanted at the start of my appointment and having explained previous disappointments she spent 15 minutes with me figuring out the best options. We went with rollers and brush blow dry (definitely not the easy or quick option) and the results were fantastic. Exactly what I’d hoped for every other time. And for someone who doesn’t get their hair done very often… I’ve returned 3 times in as many weeks. Would thoroughly recommend Sinead!
