I had been very silly and used a shampoo and conditioner with colour in it . The results were not good . Thank goodness for Sam , my hair is now a beautiful tone and the balayage is seamless . Sam is a lovely girl , always chatty and she is very talented. Always a pleasure visiting your lovely salon .

As usual, I had a lovely experience visiting the wonderfully talented Danielle. I’m always impressed by her speed and instinct whilst dying my thick hair. Wouldn’t go anywhere else

Danielle is always friendly and lovely to chat to. She knows her stuff and only recommends products I actually need rather than upsell me something I won't use. She cuts and styles my hair exactly how I like it. I always look forward to my appointments with her.

I felt really welcome at the salon. Danielle very kindly answered lots of questions I had about looking after my hair and I'm so happy with my haircut, I will be going back and definitely recommend.

I've been a regular of Sam's for a while now, and I know every time I leave the salon I'm going to be thrilled with the results! Not only does Sam do a great job on hair, but she's super welcoming too and always takes notice of her clients' interests.

I had Sam colour and cut my hair today for the first time and she was amazing! I went in for some bleach highlights, and I am in love with the result…. So happy with the colour, the toner used was perfect and overall my hair feels in great condition, Sam is lovely and I will definitely be back again soon! :)

This was my first time at this salon, having recently moved to Ipswich from Birmingham. I reviewed Google for hairdressers and the Alchemist had really good reviews.

Michelle took really good care of me. She asked me what I wanted done to my hair and really paid attention to what I asked for. She gave me a very bouncy blowdry which looked amazing.

The salon is also very clean and the service was impeccable. Think I found my go to hairdressers in Ipswich!

After my hair being badly done a couple years ago I haven’t been happy with my hair until today.

I had a consultation with Sam and decided I was happy enough to trust her with my hair. She is friendly and honest.

I booked in there and then and today she completely transformed my hair and I finally felt like me again! I even got a bit teary eyed when I saw the result.

The salon itself is also lovely. Very chilled vibe, everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

Brilliant haircut and fantastic service. I always feel revitalised when I come out.

My son was totally at ease with his first hair cut. Sam chatted with him throughout and kept his nerves away :)

The salon is very friendly and on arrival, coffee and biscuits are offered. The salon is very clean and toilet facilities, if needed are spotless. Both the senior hairdressers are very good and pleasant to talk to, I’m always very pleased with the result and will continue to use them. The parking facilities are excellent. Best hairdresser in town and a very pleasant 30 minutes spent.

As usual, a lovely experience. I come out of the salon with my hair looking amazing. The time in the salon is bliss as I'm pampered with cups of tea and have a really good catchup with all the staff. Thank you

It takes me a lot of courage to have my hair cut but I’d decided it was dead hair. Sam is such an asset to this salon and talked me through everything. I walked in the salon feeling ‘drab’ and walked out with my new colour and hairstyle feeling amazing!!

I had Marni fill in for my hairdresser Sam on my birthday and she did a fantastic job. We got on so well and I believe she is going to be a fantastic hairdresser, you can tell she really enjoys what she does and is very keen to learn! Thank you for refreshing my black locks and recommending some lovely products (I got the Silke London heatless curl kit in the end - haha!)

As someone who has long, thick, coarse black hair that frankly resembles that of the grudge most of the time, it has been extremely refreshing to finally find a hair stylist who turned my unmanageable hair into a sleek and smooth style that is easy to upkeep at home. I have had so many compliments since my most recent appointment with Sam and I trust her completely! I honestly can say she is the best hair stylist I’ve ever had so thank you so much. She is one talented lady and you will leave the salon feeling confident and cared for!
