After my hair being badly done a couple years ago I haven’t been happy with my hair until today.

I had a consultation with Sam and decided I was happy enough to trust her with my hair. She is friendly and honest.

I booked in there and then and today she completely transformed my hair and I finally felt like me again! I even got a bit teary eyed when I saw the result.

The salon itself is also lovely. Very chilled vibe, everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

Brilliant haircut and fantastic service. I always feel revitalised when I come out.

My son was totally at ease with his first hair cut. Sam chatted with him throughout and kept his nerves away :)

The salon is very friendly and on arrival, coffee and biscuits are offered. The salon is very clean and toilet facilities, if needed are spotless. Both the senior hairdressers are very good and pleasant to talk to, I’m always very pleased with the result and will continue to use them. The parking facilities are excellent. Best hairdresser in town and a very pleasant 30 minutes spent.

As usual, a lovely experience. I come out of the salon with my hair looking amazing. The time in the salon is bliss as I'm pampered with cups of tea and have a really good catchup with all the staff. Thank you

It takes me a lot of courage to have my hair cut but I’d decided it was dead hair. Sam is such an asset to this salon and talked me through everything. I walked in the salon feeling ‘drab’ and walked out with my new colour and hairstyle feeling amazing!!

I had Marni fill in for my hairdresser Sam on my birthday and she did a fantastic job. We got on so well and I believe she is going to be a fantastic hairdresser, you can tell she really enjoys what she does and is very keen to learn! Thank you for refreshing my black locks and recommending some lovely products (I got the Silke London heatless curl kit in the end - haha!)

As someone who has long, thick, coarse black hair that frankly resembles that of the grudge most of the time, it has been extremely refreshing to finally find a hair stylist who turned my unmanageable hair into a sleek and smooth style that is easy to upkeep at home. I have had so many compliments since my most recent appointment with Sam and I trust her completely! I honestly can say she is the best hair stylist I’ve ever had so thank you so much. She is one talented lady and you will leave the salon feeling confident and cared for!

I've been to the Alchemist twice now, and both times Danielle has done a fantastic job with my hair. Everyone there is really friendly, can't go wrong!

Danielle has given me a beautiful stylish hair cut and colour- cutting it wet and dry has given my hair a perfect finish. I love the caramel colours enhancing the cut. Also the experience is lovely using natural products, which I have bought to try at home and Danielle is not only a brilliant hair dresser but a lovely person to chat with.
Can’t wait to go back!

This was my first time visiting The Alchemist but Sam has been my stylist for a few years now! Such beautiful space (it gave me inspiration for decorating our living room, haha!) Sam always makes me feel like a new woman with glossy black hair and a perfect curl to finish. I felt super comfortable and loved the space. 10/10 would recommend (bonus points for customer parking!)

The Alchemist is such a lovely, warm and friendly salon, it's so nice to go in knowing Michelle totally gets me and my hair and I can just relax and enjoy! Cut is always spot on and the products smell sublime! Perfect little treat of some me time before the Christmas madness!

Absolutely gorgeous salon, was presented with a glass of fizz on arrival. The products they use are incredible, the condition of my hair has never been better. Danielle my stylist is fab at advising me what would suit, and I’m always thrilled with the end result.

From start to finish the service was second to none. Very thorough consultation, she had the best knowledge of trends, modern styles and colouring techniques. I loved how much we chatted about life and as us women do. I felt she was getting to know me as a person. I left having a brand new head of hair, and had a few head turning moments when I left the salon from passers by. I would highly recommend this salon. 5 star from me.
