About us

At Boyd’s we love what we do and are passionate about making you look and feel fantastic. We take enormous pride in our friendly, relaxed and attentive approach from the moment you walk in to the salon to the moment you leave.

Our stylists and colour technicians are some of the best, and to ensure we maintain our high standards the team are constantly updating their cutting, styling and colour techniques, this combined with a dedicated passion for our craft enables us to provide the highest level of service to all our clients.

I have been going to Boyd’s for about 20 years and Shell has coloured my hair for the majority of those years. Always a lovely experience and Shell is lovely along with Sharna who cuts my hair. First class job and would highly recommend all of the team

I had Shell do my root colour and April did my cut and finish. I've been using this salon for years now and it's the best in town. All the staff are so lovely, approachable and just generally easy to get on with. Shell is great with her colour magic, she always says what would be best, asks what you want and goes through what she will be doing and if any treatments, silver shampoos etc are needed. April is my regular stylist if I'm organised enough to book her in advance. She is always so lovely I enjoy our chats catching up on life from the last appointment. As a whole just a very lovely salon to visit can never fault the service. Thank you everyone x

I have attended many salons in my lifetime, and the staff at Boyds, especially Chantelle and Amy whoso my cut and colour, have been the first to actually deliver what I wanted. They have not tried to persuade me otherwise or impose their ideas on me. Its been a pleasure to use Boyds as my salon of choice.
