About us

At Boyd’s we love what we do and are passionate about making you look and feel fantastic. We take enormous pride in our friendly, relaxed and attentive approach from the moment you walk in to the salon to the moment you leave.

Our stylists and colour technicians are some of the best, and to ensure we maintain our high standards the team are constantly updating their cutting, styling and colour techniques, this combined with a dedicated passion for our craft enables us to provide the highest level of service to all our clients.

I’ve used Boyd’s for a long time and I highly recommend them. The staff go out of their way to be friendly and welcoming. Last visit I witnessed two staff offer to walk an elderly lady up the road. Just superb service !!

Saw Becky with my son for a consultation for a perm Becky advised as he already had some curl she could cut it differently to accentuate his curls Becky did a brilliant job and showed and explained to my son how to style and dry it to bring out his curls . Believe me I would sooner visit the Dentist than a hairdresser but April restyled my hair (which I may say is hard to handle) with perfection . I have been going to Boyds for what must be at least 17 years and would not go anywhere else. For years Boyd himself attended to my hair . One time Boyd wasn't available so Jodie did my hair . Jodie had been doing my sons hair from when he was a toddler and he was always comfortable with her. So I usually have Jodie now or Boyd of course if he's available. People tend to stick with the stylist they get used to and who they feel comfortable with. All the staff at Boyds are friendly and helpful so I always enjoy going.

I attended with my daughter Sophie for her wedding hair trial. Becky was incredible! So creative and worked 2 beautiful hairstyles for Sophie to choose from for her big day! We were thrilled with the outcome and can't wait for Team Boyds to do their magic on the day!
