I was charged an extra £9.95 for the stylist to use GHDs to wave my hair, after a Cut & Blow....

I am so disappointed as I feel that I have been ripped-off by the Cutting Room salon: I booked in for a Cut and Blow at £34; however, I was charged £43.95. When I queried this, I was told that I was being charged £9.95 for “curling” my hair. When the stylist asked me if I would like my hair straight or curled, after blow drying, I said ‘just a bit of bounce’, to give it some body. This must have taken no more than 5 minutes to do. What the stylist didn’t say was that it would cost me an extra £9.95! I have never been charged extra for a stylist to use GHD’s, to straighten or curl, after a Cut & Blow! Other salons don’t appear to be doing this. Can’t help feeling ripped-off, Cutting Room Hair Salon. Thank you.

I have very little hair but over the years it has been difficult to get a really good haircut. However over the last two or three years with Phoebe I have experienced great style and efficiency - the best I can remember in a very long time! Phoebe is excellent and she and her colleagues are also friendly and welcoming so highly recommended!

Emma was so lovely, very professional and did an perfect job on my hair, making sure it was what I wanted every step. I love it. And the salon felt very COVID safe and really great that it was open at 7:30 am

After changing hairdressers last year to The Cutting Room I am so glad I changed. Phoebe is always accommodating and understands my curly hair. Lovely atmosphere in the salon too.

If lock down gave me any insight it’s made me realise that having a haircut makes me feel so much better. It’s something I look forward to so much. Better than any other therapy. And Leigh is just the best!!

Megan cut my hair under supervision but needed little help. If you don’t mind it taking a little longer whilst she is training in cutting, do book with Megan (discounted also which is a bonus). Megan also dried and curled my hair beautifully.

Megan has been doing my colour for months now and I’ve never been happier. She is diligent and precise. Although still training to cut she has cut my hair twice now under guidance from Leigh and although it takes her a little longer she has done a brilliant job both times. I book with Megan every time now.

First time I have had my haircut with Adelle after having to change my appointment. Adelle did a fabulous job and my hair is looking lovely, ready for Christmas ?

I can trust Phoebe go cut and colour my thick hair. I’ve had my fair share of nightmares over the years due to the thickness of my hair. Phoebe always does a good and I get lots of compliments on the colour.
