Eleanor is very courteous and pleasant to deal with. She is very meticulous in her work; Eleanor has cut my hair for years. My wife and I have always been most pleased with the result month by month
My son also has his hair cut by Eleanor; our conversation can be about our families and about Eleanor's family, the holiday activities of the children, and it makes the half an hour we spend having our hair cut very enjoyable

Pleased once again with my haircut. I like that Freya suggests things about my cut as I’m always ready to try a variation. Freya always lovely to talk to as well.

The Mount is a beautifully appointed, comfortable and relaxing salon, that offers the highest standard of hairdressing, premium products, plus friendly, personal care and attention. Unsurprisingly, the salon is always vibrant and busy. Personally, I would not consider going anywhere else. Thank you so much.

Alison listened to me and straight away identified what was making me struggle with my hair. As ever, the whole salon experience was calm, relaxing with a little bit of luxury thrown in for good measure!

I have been coming to The Mount for around 7 years although have only had Eleanor cutting and highlighting my hair for the last 3 months. Eleanor really listens to what you want whilst offering suggestions as to what would suit my hair. I have been really happy with the outcomes each time. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and I would not hesitate to recommend The Mount.

I'm not really qualified (as a bloke!) to make any substantive comment about this really, so I can only sensibly observe that The Mount is clearly well run, efficient, blessed with friendly and helpful staff, in great surroundings, and well equipped. Service and efficiency are everything and The Mount has both in abundance. Lauren has only even been welcoming, charming, friendly, helpful, and an excellent hair dresser (wrong term probably?!) and having had a few bad/inconsistent experiences elsewhere, I do not hesitate in re-booking each time on departure as the last few years have been consistently good, stress free, and good value - can't really ask for anything more! Hurrah.

Freya did a great job as always.

Alison has looked after my hair for years and kept it vibrant and healthy through colour changes and new styles. Her experience and skill are invaluable and I would not go anywhere else.

As usual a first class colour and cut by Sophie it is always so calm and welcoming in the salon.
An extra plus today was that I needed to extend my car parking ticket (my fault ) and when asked Carly promptly sorted it for me.
First class, I wouldn’t go anywhere else, in fact my whole family use the salon

I have never been to a salon regularly before. I first saw Jess and since then have been regularly to The Mount for a number of years. As Jess is now on maternity leave I saw Lauren who was just wonderful. She understands that I don’t like having my hair washed and always provides me with a fantastic cut which I can style easily. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Fab experience at the Mount today with Ali. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and why she was doing it. Showed me how to get the same look at home with the right products. Left feeling absolutely thrilled with my hair, Ali completely understood what I was after. Just deciding on whether to add a bit of colour back in now...

I have been to the mount salon 3 times now. Elinor R is a fabulous stylist. She hit the brief each time she has cut and styled my hair and I couldn’t be more pleased. She is a really lovely to chat with.

Elinor always does my hair - highlights and cut. The colour is wonderful. The cut is wonderful. She is wonderful! I blow dry and style my hair myself and Elinor checks the back! The whole experience is a joy. Thank you.

I have been to Sophie for a couple of years now and would not consider going elsewhere. She is always diligent and precise with her hair cutting and styling . I have recommended her to many of my friends and would have no hesitation to do so again.

When we first came to Elinor last year my girls (15&10) were very set in their ways, didn’t want change and had had bad experiences with hairdressers at different salon - Elinor is patient, answers every random question thrown at her and this time they both ended up going for a different style and mixed it up a bit, they completely trusted her and they both feel amazing ready for their holiday :)

Jody, Carly and everyone at The Mount are so lovely from the minute you walk in the door! I have curly hair and have had many disasters, at other salons in the past, but not here! Jody really understands my hair and how I would like it. It feels like a real treat when you come here, never rushed, never pressured to buy any products and you walk out feeling fabulous !

She took time to listen and gave thoughtful, practical advice for my hair. The fringe was expertly blended — subtle, natural and perfectly suited to my face. I was shown a new drying technique and the finished result was amazing: more volume, cleaner shape and a look that lasted. Throughout the appointment she was patient, knowledgeable and clearly committed to getting it right. I left feeling confident and impressed.

All the stylist are fantastic, hard to choose just 1 i would recommend any of them 😀. Treat yourself to a hair appointment, then you'll leave feeling very chilled out ,pampered and relaxed. Thoroughly recommend 👌 👏 👍
