Came in on a thoroughly miserable day. Katy was on time and gave me a friendly greeting. We had discussed colour options last week and we just did a quick review and she went off to mix her colours.
She was fairly quick at sectioning my hair and applying the mix of high/lowlights.
Had a lovely rinse and hairwash and then she set about blow-drying my hair.
I love the fact I never have to have my hair straightened and it's the only place I have been that hasn't used straighteners to finish off.
My hair colour is lovely and my hair looks shiny and healthy.
In all a great experience.

Friendly and adaptable.
I hadn't been specific when booking my nails appointment that afternoon and Ailsa was willing to go the extra and make my nails shine with a lovely french polish.
Big treat for me, usually don't do my nails. So thank you, very pleased indeed.
Usually I have a pleasant experience at Charlie Taylors, but unfortunately my experience on the 28th sept was actually severely disappointing.
My stylist popped over to tell me once I was seated she was running 10 minutes late which I had absolutely no issue with - I appreciate that it’s a busy salon and sometimes you can run behind, but it was actually 40 minutes from being seated in the salon chair to the stylist coming over to start my hair.
I was in for a half head of highlights, which felt incredibly rushed from start to finish with my stylist being so behind, she appeared very stressed and wanted to get the job over with. She was quite rough when separating my hair for the foils and I was very uncomfortable throughout the whole process.
She asked how I like to have my hair styled once dried and I said I would like it straight, to which she blow dried it ‘straight’, put loads of product in my hair then basically threw me out the chair to go and pay.
She did ask if I was happy with my hair to which I’d told her I was happy with the colour but as I’d already felt like I was an inconvenience throughout my appointment I didn’t tell her I wasn’t happy with the finish. To be charged £57 for a style and finish when I didn’t even get my hair styled properly is a bit ridiculous, especially when the total bill was £188 for what felt like a very rushed service. I’d barely had an apology for how late she ended up being (my appointment was 2:30 / was seated just after and my hair wasn’t started till just after 3:10), and had i not wanted my hair done for going in to have my baby then I would have just rebooked with my usual stylist as I cannot fault him!
Unfortunately not the same professional service I’ve had previously which is disappointing when visiting a salon with such a big name.
Ailsa was so fab, fixed up my nails from mistakes of the last person and talked me through everything. My nails look great!

Just dropped in today as we are only in Perth for an overnight, got an appointment for a couple of hours later, brilliant.

Alisa was very friendly.
I liked how she took the time to explain step by step what she was doing, which was reassuring when having an eye beauty treatment where your eyes are shut and you are touched without warning.
Alisa took the time before treatment to ask me what results i would like, colour, the shape ect and took the time to talk threw options she thought would suit me and during treatment checked in regularly with my comfort level.
She mentioned ordering in specific shape lash gaurds to suit my face and colour that was more Blonde than brown, as i exspressed concern over not wanting brows too dark and more natural looking.
Very Gentle, friendly and one of the better beauty therapists i have been too from any salon, she really listens to clients.

I had a blow dry done by Sophie (young blonde girl) I believe. I am currently unable to wash my own hair due to a recent surgery, I booked in with Sophie and she couldn’t have been nicer. She greeted me with a lovely smile and a warm welcome, took me over and asked exactly what I wanted. She took me over to get my hair washed and she done a fab job. Sophie asked if I wanted the footrest up and back massage on as to which I took full advantage of. A lovely head massage to end the hair wash. She then took me to get my hair dried and curled which she done amazing. I honestly can’t fault Sophie, from the second she welcomed me to the lovely goodbye. Sophie is fab and such a lovely girl.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in a salon the girl did never spoke showed a picture of colour and cut which would be blonde as at my shoulders I came out with fake colour grey and no style whatsoever Absolutely hate my hair
