“Emergency” colour refresh this weekend: I couldn’t get in with brilliant Billie who usually colours my hair. Jonty who is a really talented senior colourist had one spare slot from a cancellation which I took (need to not leave booking til the last minute in future). He was brilliant - really listened to what I said and was careful and really good. It’s amazing team work and great for me as a client that Jonty took the trouble to check in and liaise with Billie (who wasn’t even working!) so that the two of them could agree the colour etc used. Great teamwork which is a reflection of the lovely group of people that make up Toni and Guy Nottingham.

Really enjoyed having my hair cut yesterday by Marc who is really talented and experienced. The team there have worked really hard to make the salon safe but also a really good “salon” experience. Front of house with Anthony is always super friendly and helpful.

Have been going to Matt for over 15 years and always get a great cut.
Felt very safe with all of the new Covid secure precautions

As ever Jamie has a good client/stylist relationship and listens to what is asked but also confident enough to give his opinion if he has a different view ??

You have organised everything so professionally and extremely safely whilst still maintaining the fun atmosphere I love. Well done all of you, I was so impressed. Very good and very happy with my haircut

Overall the cut was very good as usual with Jaimie. Unfortunately the forced wearing of a mask meant the cut round the ears to the beard line wasn’t as expected.

Great service from stylist

Matt, as always, cut my hair just the way I wanted, as in the photo I showed him. My hair is fine and it requires a really skilful stylist - I’ve found that in Matt.

I’ve been going to Toni & Guy for 9 months now. Matt & the whole team are fantastic, full of admiration for how they’ve managed through & post lockdown, oh, and a great haircut!

So nice to be back in Toni and Guy after all these months and got a beautiful cut from Jamie.

But the plastic apron did nothing to stop me getting covered in hair. My face was too and I had hair in my eyes which was really uncomfortable. The only thing I could do after was go home for a shower. A poncho type plastic apron would be better? And a chance to clean myself up before leaving the shop?

The work station was lovely and clean and the scissors where cleaned before jamie began cutting. No coffee tho!

Got a great haircut but didn’t feel pampered like I usually do . But I understand this is probably the new “normal “

I only can give Will a 5 star ?. He did my hair perfectly and he also gave me extra head massage ?‍♂️ which I love so much.

First of all, congratulations to Fade M!!!!, she did a superb job. I really love my haircut. She did that I wanted. She is so professional, kind and friendly, and she always had the patience to understand me since English is not my first language. =) so congrats again!.

That day also I asked for a technician to dye my hair, and it was given to talk with *****. She was SO RUDE and unfriendly to me, I mean, she did not have the disposition to help me and explain to me kindly. I felt so nervous and uncomfortable with her. I showed her a picture of the colour that I wanted. Then, she spoke so fast without any patience and intention to find out what I also wished I asked her to write something to understand more, and she did not do it, because some hairdresser words are harder for foreign people. After that, she rudely left me, and I said to her that I had not finished talking, and she returns. Her face was so ironic and when I told her that "sorry for my English" instead of being kind she said something like that "ah that's tricky for communication" without any intention to help me, unbelievable!. That day I wanted to dye my hair, but after that, I felt so disappointed, and I prefered to leave the salon. Fade instead, she was so friendly, and the communication was better because of her attitude with the customer.

Tony guy is a great salon, but team member like ***** leaves much to be desired.

Excellent service under these difficult times

A very positive experience and worth traveling to Nottm especially as Jamie always does an excellent job with my barnet. Was concerned by all the plastic, masks n throwaway towels. Jamie reassured me though as he told me they're recycled.

Great experience! Everyone at the salon was very reassuring, right from the telephone booking to the welcome on the day. I felt confident that all Covid-safety measures were in place - and more than anywhere I’ve been to date - and Marc talked me through what he was doing so it was a very comfortable experience. Thank you. Marc was brilliant as always and I’m very pleased with my cut.

It was lovely experience and stuff members very professional and very careful. Definitely following all the rules of Covid 19. To clean and everything is to a very high standard hygiene

George is an excellent hairdresser, we have a good natter and laugh and I’m always really pleased with my hair.
