Salon Directors Sean and Debbie McMenamin lead an award winning and highly motivated team of hair stylists and colourists set in the beautiful Cityof Nottingham.

We like to get to know all of our clients personally and our whole team are dedicated to make sure you have an experience you will want to repeat.

We strive to offer exceptional hairdressing along with outstanding customer service, and all our staff undertake continuous training to ensure that our service levels exceed your expectations.

Well Steve is just amazing. He adjusts my cut depending on the quality of the ends and the weather (it makes a difference to mine) I have curly hair and he adapts every time. I use all the shampoo, conditioner, curl cream and setting spray (which is a game changer) these all make a difference to my hair and quality of curl. This time as my hair has got longer he has cut in more layers and the curl is fantastic. Having my hair cut is a totally relaxing with Steve.

I was incredibly disappointed. I asked for my natural colour (light brown) and left with almost black hair. They also told me it was semi permanent but it has permanently lightened my hair underneath. When I went in and expressed my concern of it being about 5 shades darker than my natural colour they suggested bleaching it! Any professional hairdressers wouldn't bleach hair that's already been bleached before when there are less abrasive methods such as hair dye remover which another salon previously used on me. I ended up buying my own hair dye remover and fixing it myself. £120 appointment to make my hair look worse than before! They could have used a brown toner as a much cheaper alternative to achieving my natural colour instead! Won't be visiting again.

Many thanks for your review and we are so sorry you were not completely happy with your hair as we strive to make sure that all our clients have the best possible outcome and experience

Despite being happy after your consultation with the colour chosen, and after your appointment you did pop back and mention it felt a little dark. We said we could certainly help with that (no bleaching was mentioned). As it was not a permanent colour you agreed that a couple of shampoos may be all it needed and you’d be happy to try that and you’d let us know if that didn’t help or you weren’t completely happy.

We are sorry you chose to use a home kit rather than return to the salon but are glad that you are happy with the outcome. We can also reassure you that the colour we used would not permanently or temporarily be able to lighten any of your hair.

Amber never fails. And never ceases to amaze me. Wether you have pin straight hair kinky o hair or 3a curls like mine. She knows how to cut them and keep them healthy. She’s also very good at vintage style cuts. Which I was shocked at to be honest. And 1950’s haircuts are near extinct now haha. I love going in once every three months for a beautifying process and a good natter. Ladies go to Amber Estelle at KH hair for that wow factor. ❤️

I had a lot of anxiety about changing my hairdresser. When I got there the receptionist was very welcoming.
I was then asked if I like a drink which never came
When I styerlist come she never seemed interested in me l felt uncomfortable not relaxed
She told me what she was going to do then at the end just took a point off the back and cut my fringe she said she shape the front but never did l never felt like I had my haircut
I felt like she was to interested in selling the products more than I haircut l was in and out with in 40 minutes the price l paid very upset with the experience will not be returned

Regarding products we alway recommend home hair care to help clients manage their hair in between visits. No pressure to purchase at all but it’s part of our customer service, but we are sorry if you did not fell that was necessary

I always love my visits to the salon and today was even more important as it was the pampering I needed to get me through studying. I was definitely feeling a bit run down so it was Ruth to the rescue. In comes the pink, the black, the curls and I left feeling brand new, sparkly and pink!

I came in for a colour fix after box, dying it and it going wrong and then also a cut and blow dry as I was in need of a good cut for awhile. Jemima was an absolute angel advising me on what colour would suit me best ,how to style it and care for it after my appointment. I came out of my appointment today feeling 10 out of 10. my hair has never been in a better condition and I will definitely be returning for future appointments. Thank you so much to Jemima!!
