What can I say? The best cut I have ever had... I’m thrilled with the result probably for the first time in my life!

Fantastic styling, and colouring, as always from Gill. Despite the difficult circumstances, Gill made me feel perfectly comfortable and at ease. Uplifted my mood dramatically! Absolutely love my colour and cut! Thank you Gill and the rest of the team, keeping things safe for us all to feel more human again!

Emily was so chatty and so friendly! She did such a good job, a proper perfectionist! Considering how bad my hair was thanks to lockdown she got my hair not only back to blonde but gave me the silver colour I’ve always wanted! Had the best time! Thanks so much!

As always Mary worked her magic and gave me a superb cut and colour - she is just so talented and creative. A wonderful welcome from Eloise too, who is great at her job. Another "well done" to the whole team.

I felt like Rose from Titanic,it had been 84 years... a true transformation , my hair looks completely different and so healthy. Worth 5 hours in the salon and every penny. Mary is my go to hairdresser now! Thank you KH!

It was different because of the pandemic, but I felt very safe, looked after and of course as always I had a great cut and blow dry by Gill. The salon is Covid safe and I will be returning soon.

Absolutely brilliant service, well organised and all safety measures in place. It rained as I arrived but the staff still accommodated me so I didn’t have to stand outside whilst waiting for the stylist.

I felt some intrepidation heading out after lockdown but KH Nottingham did everything so perfectly. I felt so safe and comfortable and everyone was so welcoming and friendly. My hair, as always, was done perfectly.

It was lovely yesterday coming back to the salon. From the greeting at the door and enthusiasm of Mary bringing my hair back to life through to the screens between wash stations making it felt a wonderfully private and personal experience. I was apprehensive coming back but put at ease by everyone and everything in the salon. Thank you.

Emily is genuinely the best hairdresser I’ve had whilst living in Nottingham the past 5 years! She listens to exactly what you want and gets it right every time. The blend for my balayage is seamless, the colour perfect and she really listens to how much you want cut off! I would highly highly recommend her- I will be coming back to her from London as I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!!!

Salon immaculately prepared for social distancing and COVID precautions. Staff as ever professional, welcoming and friendly and I got a fabulous haircut! Thank you.

Managed to book in at short notice, everyone was very organised with their safety arrangements and made me feel comfortable. Jack was really friendly and made you feel at ease as he sorted my hair (hadn't been cut for a year so needed work!) - never felt rushed and took time to style it all and make it look perfect- really pleased. Also recommended some products for me and provided some samples of others to try with it. Love KH service and quality:)

The atmosphere was nice & calming which was reassuring. Everyone had their visors on and the highest standards of practice was met. The transformation of hair was incredible by a very talented lady.

I have been coming to KH hair castle gate for around 4 years now and have always had a lovely experience. Even more so now, you can tell the staff have worked hard to make sure the environment is safe and comfortable for their clients. Eloise and Amber made sure my experience yesterday was as safe as it could be. Amber did a great job on my hair and l really enjoyed catching up with her, she is super friendly and funny! I only wish that I came more often to see her!

Ruth did an amazing job at taming my hair after lockdown. I love the colour and cut. Debbie and team have done an excellent job to make the salon a calm, well organised and safe place.

Sean did an excellent job cutting my curls back into a much needed shape using his obvious skills and experience to combine my thoughts with his creative ideas .

Covid 19 has changed the way we think it’s been a time to take stock, breathe and get creative. Lots of positives will come out of the crisis. With the changes you can see that the management are strong and decisive leaders in this time of uncertainty. Thank you to Sean and Debbie.
Evident that the number of customers has decreased who are in the shop at anytime, limiting face to face interaction by standing behind the client and wearing a face shield, the client wearing a mask, accepting only contactless payments, separate work stations , frequent hand washing, hand gel for clients. Infra red thermometer for client temperature recording , keeping to social distancing.
I have been in the shielding group so when I read how the company we’re going to manage the risks I felt comfortable in attending for my hair appointment having weighed up the benefits and risks of exposing myself as it was evident that they were managing the risks associated with this virus. I felt perfectly comfortable and safe throughout.
Thank you so much for everything you do - Gill you’re a truly talented stylist and I always enjoy my appointments. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment.

I’m a regular customer and have always loved the light and space of the salon. The safety measures put in place for staff and customers are exceptional and haven’t taken away from the bright and airy vibe inside. I felt very safe and protected.

I’d had a lockdown fail with my hair by accidentally turning it swampy brown instead of toning my blonde so Ruth had to pull out all the stops to return my barnet to its former glory. Never try to do it yourself folks!

A full head of highlights, some Wellaplex and toner later I was ready for a chop. A good inch off the bottom and my layers reinstated, I had a blow dry and some gentle waves with the GHD straightener. Not ashamed to say I nearly cried as my hair transformation was complete.

Since my visit I’m using Sebastian Penetrate shampoo and conditioner as well as a weekly SP hair mask and Nioxin strengthening foam and hair oil to help restore the lost moisture.

Thank goodness for Ruth for fixing my long locks. I’ve promised never to try to tone it myself again, pandemic or otherwise!
