About us

This busy, friendly salon was originally opened in 1985 and underwent a major renovation in 2007. We are a Wella, Nanokeratin, Nioixn salon.The team has two Wella MCE specialists, along side the other nine stylists. Upstairs there are two beauty therapists offering a range of services using Dermalogica skin care products & microneedling, Jessica nail products & Mii make up . Sam Long offers aesthetics in our beauty space, she's contactable via AYL skincare & aesthetics 07588634467

To this day, Director Dawn Bramhall succeeds in keeping the salon up to the very highest standards and professionalism.

I was disappointed with my experience. I did call late in the week on the off chance of a review and the sylist told me she has a spare appointment. When I arrived there was a warm welcome, I was quickly sat and left to wait for the stylish, we had a very quick 2 min chat about what I wanted and then had my hair washed by someone different. The hair wash was ok, the massage was oakish and was done by someone who spoke with someone else whilst doing it!! I then had my cut after being left with wet hair for about 10 minutes when my stylist came back she was lovely but told me how she'd got behind and clearly was rushing, she seemed to be catching up with herself!!! which resulted in my cut not being exactly what I asked for, not as short as the back as I asked for and is uneven at the back which I realised once I was home and my daughter pointed it out. I was told when I booked the appointment I needed an hour appt as I required a consultation due to being new!! But if the appt took less time it would be charged at a 40 min appt. I certainly didn't get quality for money and I certainly didn't get 60 mins of attention from the stylist I paid for. Disappointing!! I will bring my children to your salon again but I will make sure I use my normal salon for myself. I am not complaining about the stylist she was rushed off her feet and flustered, she was very kind, offered me drinks etc, but I felt I paid a fair amount for something I'll need doing again soon.

I had the lovely amber today who has just qualified because my normal stylist was poorly and wow what a brilliant hairdresser she is I absolutely loved what she done to my hair lovely girl very friendly and was very good at understanding what I wanted.
Her advice and the time she took I’m so happy would have her again.
Love the salon and the staff very welcoming love coming to the salon
