Ever since Mitch and I took the plunge with a short style in February 2025, I have LOVED my hair. Years of being frustrated with fine, unruly hair are behind me thanks to Mitch"s skill and creativity. Spending an hour with Mitch every few weeks is something I really look forward to - I enjoy our conversations and leave the salon relaxed and refreshed. I have huge confidence in Mitch and would recommend him highly - I have never had a hairdresser I have trusted and valued more. THANK YOU MITCH!

Hairven is a great salon. It is spotlessly clean. The staff are very welcoming. Nicky is an amazing stylist. She is friendly, kind and knowledgeable.

This was my first appointment with Debs.
She explained what she was doing to colour my hair each step of the way.
She was very reassuring about the colour change as I was nervous..
I was not disappointed loved the colour.
Debs then cut my hair framing my face and managed to keep the length again I was nervous as my hair has been one length forever.
Loved the cut.
Debs gave me tips on how to style my hair.
Had an excellent experience and booked my next appointment with Debs.
Left the salon feeling very pleased.😊

Long review incoming. I recently moved from Essex and have had various hairdressers in the past. Many had different ideas and did lots with my hair. I came across Hairven after looking to find a blow dry package in Nottingham. I was a little apprehensive, but wanted to try them as the blow dry package was a great deal and I had hair extensions which are super high maintenance (!!) and wanted professionals to check these were kept in good form. From the moment I started visiting Hairven I have been totally impressed and overwhelmed at how wonderful the staff are. I have found it hard, moving here, but I can whole heartedly say that I have felt welcome at every visit to both Beeston and Gedling salons. Joanne on reception is warm, friendly and always has my coffee ready. Helen is experienced and knowledgeable and has given me my dream hair with extensions. The other stylists have chatted with me, and even when I’ve felt lonely, have made me feel welcome and at home. I’ve brought my baby daughter to every appointment - which at first I worried would be a problem, but it never has been. If anything they’ve welcomed her also, and made us feel so comfortable. Shan and Kenzie, and Craig are funny, kind and experienced. I would highly recommend anyone to come and visit. You are all outstanding at what you do - and any customer who visits is lucky to have you as their hairdresser. I’m so glad I found you. Thank you for your kindness, and for helping me settle in Nottingham - not sure what I’d do without my 2-3x per week visits, and the coffees on tap (Joanne!) xxx

what I required listened to what I had to say then gave me advice and reassurance that she could sort out my hair. I am returning to the salon for colour and cut with Debs hoping for a good outcome🤞🏻

I am going through a very difficult time at present with health worries! I forced myself to go and get my hair sorted as it desperately needed it. My Angel Nicky gave me her support and also reassurance which gave me more comfort than you can imagine. And l left with a lovely cut & colour. Feeling much better than before 😇

Nikki has been cutting my hair for the last six months. She has taken time to get to know me and my hair! She listens to what I ask for and cuts my hair really well.

From consultation to cut & colour, Deb had interpreted what I needed. Even though I could have the AI, folically blessed, hairstyle I wanted, what I got captured the essence of what i wanted. I now have a style and colour which took me away from mid-length bore to blonde, edgy, with a hint of girlish playfulness.
