My 2nd visit today with Alex for a cut,love my hair,such a lovely girl,makes you feel comfortable,found my new hair salon won't be going anywhere else,thankyou.

I always come away from the salon with a perfect cut that stays well styled for weeks

I usually have Alex cut my hair, but she’s away so I had another lady. Who was very nice,she cut my hair, as I asked for it to be done so everything was good. Somebody had to come and check her work which wasn’t a problem which I’d rather just in case, that everything was good. She done a good job and she was very friendly..

I received a wonderful gift voucher as a christmas gift and was excited to use it just to be told that i couldn’t as it had expired! No expiration date is noted on the voucher and in fact there is no information that comes with it whatsoever. Ruins what is supposed to be a nice gesture. Granted I could have used it sooner but knowing when I needed to schedule it in by would’ve helped! Been scammed of £70 plus the additional £40 I unexpectedly ended up paying!!

The appointment was professional friendly helpful and I felt very relaxed. Both Jess and Jodie were keen to understand what I was really looking for. And took their time to decide on the colours nothing felt rushed and I feel much better now I’ve had my haircut so well.

In terms of cost I would imagine it’s comparable to many of the salons of a similar calibre the atmosphere in the salon is friendly and professional and Courtney on reception was helpful as always

It was great to see Jodie again who always knows exactly how I like my hair. It was time well spent, that was very enjoyable with a great outcome for my hair. I look forward to the next time.

Love going to Avant Garde. Sarah as always did the most amazing job of my hair today transforming me from very blonde to much darker. Always so happy to spend the afternoon there as the staff are all amazing and the service is second to none. I highly recommend.

Alex was absolutely lovely. She immediately put me at ease, made some suggestions when I wasn't sure and made the whole process enjoyable for me. I came out feeling fantastic and I only went in for a trim!

Jodie has been my stylist for a few years and I have always been very happy with her hairdressing skills - colour, full and partial foils, cut and finish - always beautiful results. The salon is a friendly and relaxing place to visit.

Natasha always styles my hair perfectly and is great to talk to. She makes sure that I will leave happy with a great haircut.
The environment is always cosy and everyone is polite and professional.
There is always a warm drink available if you want it.
Due to all of the above, I have never looked anywhere else!

I had a lovely balayage, cut and finish today by Morgan who is a graduate stylist. She listened exactly to what I wanted and didn’t want and was very attentive and confident during my appointment.

Jodie has cut/coloured my hair and my sons for years. I’ve been a customer of the hairdressers for over 10 years and Tash also does a great job.
Jodie just gets me, knows who I am and what I need, had a bad day when I came in, Jodie transformed my hair and made me feel so much better!!! Amazing lady!

Unfortunately I didn’t have a very good experience today.
Morgan did a very good job of colouring my hair. However, when my hair was washed my top got wet and also my hair was still wet and wasn’t fully dried because the stylist was called away before finishing. Another stylist was called to finish off.
Unfortunately, I left feeling unsatisfied with the service as the appointment didn’t feel complete. I’d appreciate it if this could be looked into, as I was expecting my hair to be properly finished before leaving without feeling that I inconvenienced the staff for a service that I am paying for.

I have been going to Avant Garde for 30+ years. I first started visiting the Salon when I lived in Wellingborough. I now live in a small village in Leicestershire and travel some 50mins to the Salon. Miki has been my permanent Stylist for the last 2+ years, although when my previous Stylist went on maternity leave Miki always took over from her. I receive so many compliments regarding the cut and colour of my Hair. She is great! All the staff are very friendly and professional. The new premises are great and very easy to park. They also make a great cup of tea/coffee!
