I had a very good hair cut, Jade was excellent and the COVID standards were met perfectly

My son has spiral curls, had some who cannot style a mans curls (not Opus), they've cut it into a bob! Katie always cuts his hair well, been coming here a good few years now. Would definitely recommend Opus.
The ONLY thing is contact, I've contacted via Facebook and answer phone to try get an appointment because of lockdown but never, to my knowledge, had a response. Otherwise I'd have given a full star rating for service too.

Katie made a brilliant job of restyling my hair. It hadn’t been cut since February and had looked a mess. It looks great now.

Once again Opus offer a warm welcome on arrival. I was made to feel relaxed and pampered. Drinks on offer throughout . I didn't feel rushed through the various stages and my hair looked and felt amazing when I left .

My stylist was Charlotte who was friendly and listened to what I wanted.for my hair she was helpfull regarding choosing the correct colours that would suit my face colouring . Charlotte also had knowledge of the styling products suitable for the condition of my hair being sold in the salon. I was pleased with the colour and cut .

I’m not sure if Katie is the new stylist taken over from Ashlee so hoping I’ve got her name right. I put her under pressure because I needed to get back to work and she took it all in her stride, she did a great job of my hair and I’d recommend her to my friends. Very happy ?

Katie my stylist is exceptional, nothing is too much trouble and she goes out of her way to make sure my hair is just as I want it. Offering suggestions and ideas where needed. Booked for 2 wet cuts, but ended up getting a cut and blow dry and a cut (no hair wash just sprayed) then being charged for a cut and blow dry and a dry cut (?). I couldn’t really afford £59 this time but felt I had little choice but to pay as I didn’t want to argue about it plus it was embarrassing. I thought my hair was being blow dried to check the cut, and feel as this was the stylists mistake she could have charged me for the wet cut I’d booked. On the previous appointment I was charged the same amount but my son had his washed n dried too but that didn’t happen this time, so I don’t feel pricing/service is very transparent or consistent. Both styles were cut too short, although mine is a nice cut, I did say I wanted to keep the length but it’s gone from shoulder length to short bob, hopefully it will grow quickly as it’s more daily maintenance now I can’t put it up. My son hates his cut as his long fringe which he wanted to keep is much shorter. Also I would of at least of expected a coffee having been there 2hrs, I thought probably with Covid this had been stopped but other clients were offered it. After coming for many years I feel it’s time for a change as the service isn’t what it used to be and I don’t feel like I get what I want/what booked in for on the last couple of visits.
