TONI&GUY YORK opened in the town in 1998.

We are committed to providing the ultimate salon experience, paying great attention to customer service. Our talented team of stylists and technicians are on hand to give you expert advice on the latest trends and services.

Members of our salon are part of the TONI&GUY Session Team and have worked alongside the International Artistic Team on catwalk shows at London Fashion Week, bringing the latest trends from the catwalk to our clients.

Members of our Colour team hold the prestigious Wella master colour expert-their knowledge and expertise are on hand to advise you on the latest colours and techniques.

We offer many additional services including Bridal and Occasion hair, the NanoKeratin Smoothing blow-dry and Microlinks/ring Tape extensions. Our wide range of haircare products include label.m, Kerastase, GHD, Wella, Tangle Teezer to keep your hair salon perfect until your next visit.

STRENGTH IN STYLE Strength in Style is now available in this salon, offering people affected by cancer specialist support and advice on hair care. This service includes styling pre, during and post treatment hair, and wig personalisation with the option to purchase synthetic and human hair wigs. My first haircut at Toni & Guy after putting off a haircut for a while due to not knowing what I was wanting and not being happy with how my hair was looking in general. I was able to sit down and have a chat with Joel beforehand and he took me through what would look good with my hair and why. He took everything step by step and knew the look that he was going for which is exactly what I was after as he did it perfectly.

Amazing service that's well worth the money and I will definitely be returning. Joel made me feel confident when talking about styles that I liked and about trying something new with my hair as well as showing me how to style the look that he created - a clear step up from my usual barber!

I would recommend this to anyone who is wanting to try something new and would like a new option on their hair, Toni & Guy are much more knowledgeable in creating styles that will work for you and it shows - I feel a lot more confident with this haircut and I will not hesitate to book again with Joel. Couldn't be happier with the service.

Mia was excellent and did a great job. Very good at listening and not rushing.

I want to make it clear she was great and the was no problem with her at all. But every time we have an appointment with T+G york with several different stylists they are always 10-15 late starting. Yesterday we were on a very tight schedule and it would have been nicer when we arrived to be told that it would be late. I understand that it’s hard to keep things on time and I would not have a problem if we were told on arrival that the will be 10-15 minutes wait.

Lovely experience. Ellie was easy to chat to and even though I had no idea what to do with my hair she knew what would suit me and how to give my hair more shape. She also advised on colouring my hair in the future.
I’ve actually worn my hair down today for the first time in over a year. I love it.

Grace is a lovely friendly young lady. I felt very at ease and she listened to what I wanted and advised me how my hair would look as I really had no clue. Would also like to mention that the young girl ( had a foreign accent) gave me the best relaxing gentle hair wash I’ve ever had in my life! I hate having it washed as they are usually really rough and rushed! She gave me a lovely head massage too. Amazing !

I had a really bad hair experience with a DIY job on my hair. The salon fitted me in straight away and my hair stylist Conner was really great and did an amazing job. The service was amazing!
