Great stylist

I usually get quite anxious before going to the hairdressers, but from the moment I walked through the door, I was made to feel welcome.
Elliot was professional, clear and really listened to what I was wanting. He was also friendly and easy to chat with; no awkward silence or short lived small talk, which helped my existing anxiety around salons.
I’m so happy with the way my hair turned out, the cut and colour are fab!

My usual stylist wasn’t available as she has reduced her hours to explore an exciting new venture. It was a hair emergency for me and my 2yr old so we booked with someone new. Can’t praise Elliot enough, and I think it’s the best hair cut yet at the salon (sorry Becky). He was fabulous with my little one, an excellent manner and her hair is so cute. I really like my cut too! Still looks great after it’s 1st wash. Elliot is a credit to the salon.

Elliott made a great job of my hair - it was my first visit to this hair salon after relocating to the area. He was easygoing, friendly and a great listener. I have not always found it easy to get a modern, choppy short hair cut but Elliott got it right first time and I will be going again!

Another fantastic experience at Contemporary. Hannah is a very talented stylist and always does a fantastic job with my hair. She makes sure she understands exactly what I want doing and offers her advice when I ask, to ensure that the final style will suit my face shape and hair thickness. Hannah is always friendly and professional, making me feel welcome and the whole experience enjoyable.

Perfect service from everyone today. Thank you Jess for drying and straightening my hair. An extremely welcome 45 min break from a hectic week. Will be back next time I’m in Whitby

Booked in for a spur of the moment Re-style, armed with just a saved picture on my phone. I was made to feel very welcome, and felt very confident in my stylist Elliot, he did an amazing job, and made sure my cut was just perfect.
