Lois was fantastic. Even though my appointment was at the end of the day she made me feel like I was the first customer. She listened to my concerns and gave me the best cut I have ever had for my unruly curly hair.

I had my roots coloured and a blow dry by Amy. She is so friendly and accommodating, as are all the staff at Gotthard.

I had a lovely experience getting a new cut for winter (I have long hair that tends to knot). Olivia was great with advice and tips on hair care. I'm looking forward to booking my next cut.

Just to say my third time with Cindy J & as always a really good experience. She listens carefully to what you’re asking & trying to achieve - does all the relevant professional tests necessary & will tell you ( politely) how achievable it is with your particular hair type & in it’s current state.
The atmosphere seems calm & unhurried & everyone is friendly & most importantly, it is non threatening & (crucially for me) “non pretentious” unlike SO many salons in the area & yet you still get an air of confidence that they are very professional & know exactly what they’re doing!
So refreshing & I wish Id found Cindy years ago!!
I love the products used especially Davines hair colours & how much better I feel when I leave!!

Lois did just what I asked, and quickly and effectively removed two months worth of unruly hair. I now have exactly the cut I want.

This was my first visit to the salon after deciding to change my hairdresser. I researched a number of local salons before choosing Sarah at Peter Gothard. I was not disappointed. Very knowledgeable when looking at my hair colour. Very pleased with the result.

Appreciate I managed to get booked in for a last minute appointment today. Linda is a lovely lady and always listens to what is required. Great service every time - would definitely recommend 👍

Cindy was fantastic. She really listened to what I like (and don’t like) about my hair and suggested solutions that worked for me. She recommended a product that’s been a game changer, and she was also so easy to chat with. I left with not only a great cut but also some brilliant ideas for places to visit in the UK. She made the whole experience really comfortable and I came away feeling confident and looked after.

Friendly staff, welcomed by name & with a smile. All very polite & professional. Had a lovely stylist today (she was 'new to me' as my regular stylist was unwell) she did a wonderful job, I've been coming many years & today did not disappoint. Always a relaxing experience. Sarah is always really nice and welcoming and always does a great job with my hair just to the length that I want and knows what products to use to help me dry my really really thick hair much quicker. She did a great job.

Have been having my hair done by Amy for nearly 2 years now. Always very happy with colour and cut. Very friendly and chatty and the end result is always amazing. Would highly recommend

I had an appointment yesterday for a root regrowth tint and a blow dry....but because I was going to a wedding the same day, sarah then went in on a bouncy blow dry, and honestly ive never had so many compliments about my hair in my life! Im not the most confident person but yesterday all day I felt the most confident ive ever felt! And now my hair is so good my own mother (a very hard woman to please) wants to go to sarah, so that speaks volumes on her talent! Also she is honestly the most down to earth, friendliest hairdresser too, I actually get excited to go to my appointments to see her cos I know the next few hours are going to be relaxing with lots of pamper and a right good natter and ultimately a brilliant hairstyle and colour! I cant recommend sarah enough, best hairdresser in Harrogate by far and trust me ive been to quite a few and she definitely stands out from the rest, thank you sarah for my new hair xx
