Contemporary Salons Harrogate

I always enjoy my hair experience at Contemporary, because that's what it is - an experience.
The staff are always so friendly and chatty, and as an autistic person with anxiety, they somehow always manage to make me relaxed and pull me of whatever shell i'm in.
The service is great, going out of their way to ensure i'm comfortable, be it thirst, warmth, hunger or the pressure from their exsquisite massages.
I've had my hair done by several members of the team over the years, and I've never had any complaints and only good things to say. I selected Stephen as he was my most recent stylist. We had a great chat about potential styles for the future and he'd actually kept an image of a style we'd discussed a little while ago that i'd completely forgotten about! Bit of an extreme change though so i'm still saving for that, but i'll definately be back soon!

Chloe is an excellent hair stylist who has real flair. She has looked after my hair and also the hair of some of my friends for a long time. She listens and discusses what i want doing each time I visit and doesn’t make an automatic assumption that I will want the same cut as last time. Also, if she thinks something won’t look right she offers advice about why it may not look right (for example, be careful about having short layers at the front, medium layers will suit the style better or I think the fringe will suit you, cut just below the eyebrows).
She is a treasure?.

I’ve been going to Contemporary for over a year now and love this salon! You always receive a warm welcome and the service is so personal. Sian is excellent and does such an amazing job at colouring and cutting my hair. I’ve had quite a big hair transformation and Sian has helped me change my colour without damaging my hair and I love it. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you to all of you.
