It was my first visit to the salon and was feeling a bit anxious as I'd been with my last hairdresser for a long time, but Maddie was so lovely, she asked how I liked my hair to be and explained through out the appointment what she was doing and if I was happy with how she was cutting it.Maddie was really chatty and made me feel at ease. Really pleased with the end result.

I've had my hair cut as some of the very best salons in London when I lived there, and not one of those experiences beat the awesome Saks Guisborough. The whole team at every level immediately make you feel welcome the very moment you walk through the door. The salon itself is wonderfully clean, relaxed and organised so you're immediately put at ease. The expertise and professionalism is always delivered in such an open and friendly manner, from the greeting at reception, to the consultation, hair wash and the cut itself, I sincerely cannot fault these ladies. Such an incredible team and a beaming asset to the Saks brand. I always leave feeling SO much better than I arrived.
I've always been super fussy about who cuts my hair, nobody ever quite gets it right. Sarah at Saks has always delivered a fantastic cut that I've never been able to fault. What I used to find such an anxious experience is now relaxed and enjoyable event since I've been coming to Saks Guisborough knowing that my hair is in such excellent hands.

This was the first time I have visited the salon for a hair cut and colour. Sarah was brilliant, she took her time to talk about what I wanted and was able to recommend products based on my hair type and colour. She was very patient and professional, whilst being very amicable and friendly. Unfortunately I went with a different stylist than I had had previously and the colour was not what I had asked for. Spoke to the manager and she offered me to go back to rinse the toner out but as I have looked closer at home, the colour is in blocks and I'm having to style it very particularly to avoid the sharp contrast. Have been happy with previous experiences, however do not feel able to return now.
