TONI&GUY Allerton Road in Liverpool

I love coming for my regular trim at this salon. And even more, I love coming for a big chop every now and then when I get the nerve. There’s always a warm welcome from all staff, especially Phil. I know I can talk through my ideas and be listened to, along with getting professional and technical advice about what would be best for my specific hair. Can’t praise Tony and Guy Allerton Road highly enough.

I have been going to Toni and Guy Allerton Road for a couple of years now. Phil and his team are amazing. I have had my hair personally cut by Phil and his standards are of the highest calibre. He listens to what I want and delivers. If you are looking to get your hair cut, this is the place to go!

Asked to see a colour specialist and went in for low lights in blonde hair and he turned my hair red. Then he tried to tell me ‘these things happen!’ He tried to rectify this 2 days later and I was dark brown with red still coming through. Never had such a poor service with any hairdresser
Stay away from this salon!!

Visited Toni and guy today for colour cut an blow dry, and I am so pleased with my lovely hair it feels soft and silky smooth and the colour is gorgeous ,Was very well looked after by Beth and Jenny, and as I felt more comfortable wearing a mask , then they did too . Thankyou girls for a lovely morning and lovely hair

On 12th April I had an appointment booked with Tony and Guy Alerton road. On a way to salon I've stucked in school run traffic and was late for my appointment for SIX minutes. When I came the told me that my appointment has been cancelled and somebody allready in the chair, if you want we can book you for next Friday... No-one even tried to ring me just cancel and that's it. My day was wasted all that journey to Alerton road who's is 30 miles for me was wasted. All of these because I was late for 6 minutes. Disgusting Now I need to book somewhere else as I am not coming back to Tony & Guy Alerton road.

I booked in with Dan after a 2 year history of taking medication that has been brutal on my hair!! My hair was broken, brittle, long but awful condition!! I was a little scared of what the outcome would be but after talking to Dan for only a few minutes had total trust in him to do whatever he thought would be necessary to make my hair look normal again!!
I couldn’t be happier, Dan has made my hair look healthy after cutting and blow waving it. He taught me how to handle my damaged hair and advised on colour which I am going to book in for in the next few weeks. Dan also advised me on the best products for me to use and ( very important) how to use them!!
My daughters are both amazed at how my hair has been totally transformed and will both be booking in with Dan to have their hair cut by him also.
Dan is also a lovely person to talk to and I’m actually looking forward to the next appointment already!!

The salon was covid safe and was made to feel safe . I had some colour which I was waiting weeks for but it was worth the wait so made up

So happy with my visit my stylist was lovely and caring .and made me feel million dollars .

I'm not happy with my very basic cut, too short at the back after asking for it not to be cut so short, £53 for a cut I can't handle.

I had been waiting for ages to get my haircut and came in today for my first appointment at this salon. Was seen by a male hairdresser who was lovely, cut my hair well and we were having a nice chat. Then as he was blow drying my hair, another hairdresser came over and, without saying anything, started very quickly blow drying the other side. I thought it was a bit odd but thought fair enough, maybe they need to get people in and out faster, even though the salon wasn’t busy. I was in and out - washed, cut, blow dried - in 35 minutes and I’m afraid to say my blow dry has suffered as a result. It’s 3 hours later and one side of my hair has stayed in (the half the male hairdresser did) but the side that was rushed has completely fallen out meaning I’m about to go out for my 30th birthday with a wonky blow dry. Your prices aren’t low enough to rush people in and out like that, more care should be taken. Such a massive shame, it’s the first time I’ve been able to have my hair done this year for a special occasion and I’m disappointed. Fair play to you all for working in difficult conditions but please make sure you still provide a quality service reflective of your prices.

My experience with T&G Allerton was absolutely amazing. I had a very thorough consultation where they recommended a colour specialist as well as a hair stylist. It's been a very long time since a hairdresser listened to my ideas and did everything to create a wonderful look that suits me and the type of hair I have. Their technical expertise and professionalism is truly excellent and their welcoming friendliness is very supportive. I was apprehensive to go to the salon in this Pandemic however they are meticulous in all their safety measures so I could relax which I never thought was possible. I arrived with a big mop of hair and left with a hollywood glamorous stylish hairstyle. It has put a great bounce in my step. Highly recommend!!

Excellent! Phil was efficient, gave a great cut and we had interesting conversation throughout. And, I felt the salon was clean and safe.
