My experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I left was 5 star. This salon gave an experience not just a haircut. Rachel was professional and personable. I walked out super happy with my hair which is rare for me! I felt welcomed and at ease and was walked through every stage of the process which I enjoyed and appreciated. Thanks Rachel!

I started getting my hair done by Lisa at Butchers a couple of years ago and have since moved away from Leicester but still drive back for hair appointments because she's brilliant.

Charlotte did such a fantastic job with my cut and finish! I felt so at ease through the whole process, I really felt like she understood what I wanted even more than I did! I loved the chakra cards and aromatherapy, really helped set a calm and relaxed tone for the rest of the experience. I went in with hair so long and flat that it swamped me and left with bouncy, beachy waves! Thank you so much

Rachel really took the time to understand what I wanted and also gave her input which was so helpful in deciding what would look best on me. The whole process was done so skillfully and she really took her time making it perfect. I get anxious at salons and Rachel made me feel comfortable and even let me use the space upstairs for more privacy as I wear a hijab, it was so thoughtful. I am so happy with the end result I've never had my hair look this good after a balayage, cannot recommend enough! Plus the salon is nice and I love the vibe. Thank youu ?

Love the vibe at butchers the staff are so friendly and welcoming this is my second appointment with Rachel and she’s honestly so good and professional. I made sure I specially asked for her and I’m so happy. Will be coming back again definitely:)

It had been a long time since I last had my hair cut professionally, and after a few bodge attempts at home it needed to be sorted. Everyone was so welcoming and I have never felt so comfortable in a salon before. Lisa worked magic on my hair, recommending how I need to look after my hair and what cut would best suit my face. I could not recommend Butchers enough ?

Rachel gave me the most perfect blow dry and styled my hair perfectly. She was so professional and walked me through the whole process! This was my first time at butchers but I’ll definitely be back again

Lisa recommend a great cut for me which I absolutely love, it feels so healthy and refreshing!
I also have so many grey hairs which I love and the products and cut complements the greys!

Chloe cut and coloured my hair today and I love it! She is so professional and she knew exactly how to create the look I had in mind. Poppy washed my hair and applied a toner, and she was extremely thorough too. Thanks girls!

Great service! Receptionist and stylist were both friendly. I felt comfortable and confident with my stylist Chloe, who was lovely and did an amazing job! I asked for a shoulder length bob , and she cut it beautifully. she also took great care and attention. The overall process start to finish was relaxing and didn't feel rushed. Would definitely recommend again :)

Lovely salon, very kind and welcoming staff, made my hair look lovely and felt so soft, helped me with a good shampoo and conditioner option for my hair. Very knowledgeable and helpful, I will definitely be going back for a colour later on.
There is also the cutest dog wandering around.

Visit the salon today for my regular visit. Absolutely love it. Rachel knows me so well and and always, does as she pleases! Obviously with my consent. Love it!

As always Lydia has worked her magic and I leave looking like I should be off out on the town.

I have been to the salon a few times now. I absolutely love the place. It’s beautiful. In every single sense. The vibe. The lush plants.…Aveda!! I mean - it’s like a mini spa for me! Nancy, front of house - is always so kind, helpful and professional. This has been my experience with all of the staff, actually. Everyone is super welcoming. The apprentice is also incredible. Wondrous shampoos and great chats too!
I see Lisa, who is bloody amazing!! She’s patient (with my ever changing ideas), collaborative and intuitive. I love how we ‘work together’ rather than it being one sided. Again, it’s clear this is how all of the stylists work. There is great importance put on the consultations - whereby, the talented stylists really listen.
It’s consistently a gorgeous experience. X

Better than therapy

It's the second time I've been to Charlotte and I cant recommend her enough. She asked me what I wanted and went through how much length I wanted off then worked her magic. Added bonus shes fab too! Also discussed colouring for future visits.
