About us

Steph and her partner (both personally & professionally) James Finney, acquired their Ashby Salon in September 2018 and set about rebranding the business to Stephanie Jones Award-winning Hair & Beauty in January 2019. From this point onwards the business has thrived, culminating in the acquisition of, and expansion to a second salon in Market Bosworth in January 2021.

Steph is a career hairdresser and focuses her time in-salon into managing her team of stylists to deliver a range of premium, experience-driven services.

James, who has a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a wealth of experience in managing small businesses, works behind the scenes to ensure the smooth operation of all financial & administration activities, freeing Steph up to focus on the creative side of the business.

With a growing team of experienced and talented staff, coupled with a large and loyal client base the business looks to the future with a real sense of optimism.

I looked like Animal from the muppets as I have not been able to go to my salon since last year! What news! it has had a makeover and now is a Stephanie Jones salon. Elizabeth Ann retired I wish her well. New salon is amazing, so light and spacious. My hairdresser Sian was still there. Thank goodness! I walked in as a troll and walked out feeling fabulous. Love my new look, mixed high and low lights with a short bob and feel like a billion dollars! Thank you xxxxx

Nice staff. Well organised.

Really enjoyed my experience at SJ hair in Market Bosworth, Nat listened to what I wanted, had lovely soft hands and didn’t pull my (very thick) hair at all whilst washing and styling, really happy with the cut and finish and will definitely be returning! Even with covid restrictions 10/10 service! Thank you :)
