Could not recommend shear-desire enough! Absolutely beautiful salon with amazing staff that are very welcoming, kind and caring. The ladies really do go above and beyond. Clients safety is taken extremely seriously with the current situation we are all in and I felt completely safe during my visit and noticed lots of cleaning taking place. Can’t wait to return!

This was my first visit to Shear Desire and Adela was absolutely brilliant, she had an a difficult "repair job" on her hands literally and the result was all that I'd hoped for and more. The whole were fantastic. If any of you are needing to change your current salon please give these a try. It's a very big thing finding the right hairdresser but as soon as I walked in I felt at ease, I'd had my patch test before my appointment and the colours are amazing, my style looks and feels 100%better too as Adela also advised and chatted with me through the cut. A professional, knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming salon and thank you so much Adela. The professional safety measures in place for Covid were great and makes you feel very safe.

I’ve visited Janine twice in the last couple of weeks, once for my post lockdown cut and colour and most recently for my little boys haircut. I felt very safe visiting the salon during both visits, and as always, Janine did an amazing job! She is great with my little boy, he wouldn’t let us near his hair during lockdown but sat perfectly for Janine today! Thank you so much!

Managed to take my crazy hair that hadn't been cut for about a year and tame it, leaving me with soft, bouncy, healthy hair and a feeling of being pampered. Very good with hygiene and following rules around covid. Only 2 clients in the salon, all felt very safe abs controlled.

It was my first time going to Shear Desire and I was not disappointed in the slightest. Adela was just lovely, easy to chat to and extremely helpful. The salon itself was super clean and, overall, it was a lovely experience. Price-wise, I was taken aback at how good the prices are!

Visited the Salon today 19.09.20 with covid 19 being everywhere you turn I can only say the salon was beyond spotless. I never felt concerned at all during my appointment, they had hand sanitizer available, temperature check, sanitized every station after use,disposal aprons and PPE. Yet again I recieved great customer service and steph is a miracle worker with hair she turned my super frizzy dead hair into shiny healthy looking hair in an hour. She also gave my hair an anti frizz treatment and it has completely transformed my hair. I walked out of the salon feeling amazing with my new cut. Thankyou

I was bright red and wanted to change! I’d put it off for ages because I knew it wouldn’t be an easy move! I thought I would walk away orange or pink today but Adela’s colour magic (and patience and nearly 4 hours) got me out with my new brown hair which I love!! Thank you!

I walked into Shear Desire with four inches of root, a blonde I wasn't happy with and my curls in desperate need of some professional care and attention. After years of avoiding salons and struggling to trust anyone, I finally put my trust in Steph and committed to an appointment to correct my colour and bring my curls back to life. It was the best decision I've made in a long time. I can't remember the last time I had my hair done and felt this good! Steph is not just a skillful hairdresser, she is a professional who is exceptionally passionate about giving the customer what they want and doing whatever she can to achieve that. She spent time to really think, research and discuss with me what she was going to do; she went the extra mile to do the best job she could. I didn't expect her to be able to achieve the colour I wanted on this first appointment and was under no illusions it was a big job but I was blown away by the end result she achieved. I am now booking my next appointment and have a new hairdresser I can trust - and I haven't had one of those for a very long time. Thank you so much to Steph at Shear Desire.

First class service with a stylist who knew what she was doing and what I was looking for. Always difficult for a first time client, but Adela surpassed all expectations. A credit to your company. I have already booked my next appointment. I was uncertain about my appointment, having never been before and obviously concerned about the present circumstances with regard to Covid. However, the set up in the salon was brilliant and I felt safe and at ease. The salon was immaculate and was working around the Covid restrictions with professionalism and conscious of their duty to their clients as well as keeping themselves safe.

I have been going to Janine for a few years now and going to the salon has always been an enjoyable experience due to the happy and upbeat atmosphere. Even under the current circumstances the girls are still as professional as ever and doing everything they can to ensure that you feel comfortable and safe in the salon whilst they work on you, even the new guidelines and pressures haven’t managed to dampen the atmosphere!

Great to be back in the salon. The girls have done a fab job adapting to the new guidelines. Janine did an amazing job giving me a fab new colour and style.
