Very welcoming and friendly staff. First time I have had a wet shave at a barbershop. Sian made me feel very relaxed and was very skillful, as well as with cutting my hair.
The whole experience was excellent. My face felt very relaxed afterwards.
Would definitely do it again and definitely recommend it.

I've been a loyal customer for 5 years, here's why;
+ I have difficult hair with a flick on the opposite side to the crown. A lot of places can't compensate for that leaving an uneven finish once the hair is styled. At GR Ashby they ask how you style your hair and cut to suit the finished style.
+ The service is always pleasant, efficient, and not the usual 'plastic' level of professionalism but a genuine approach with professional stylists.
+ The salon is clean, tidy and well laid out. No shortage of options either, good background music to suit any taste and at a volume that promotes conversation.
+ Having previously used 'premium salons' in major cities as a staple, they offer better service at half of these prices (hence it's just fair to tip some of that difference).

Always impressed by The Grooming Room; it’s really easy to book online and the quality of the haircut is great. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. Excellent value for money.

I have been going to The Grooming Room for about two years now. I would never ever go anywhere else. All the staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable but Tasha is down to earth and a real perfectionist. Best barbers I have ever tried and Iv tried a lot.

Recently moved to the area and instantly found the place very welcoming and friendly for me and the boys to have our hair cuts. All the girls are bubbly and chatty and it’s always a relaxed atmosphere.
Really impressed with Sian and regularly receive comments on how good my haircut looks. I hope to continue using the grooming room for a long time yet. Keep up the great work.

Went to have a hair cut and wet shave with Ella to help with training. Ella made me feel relaxed and explained what would happen when having my first ever wet shave. She was careful and thorough and had help if she wasn't sure, which was reassuring. Thanks again
