1302 Hair Design

So after going to many different salons, who didn’t know what to do with my hair as it’s so thick, I found 1302. They were welcoming from the very beginning and never disappoint. I’m a person who gets easily bored with my hair, and Katlyn always gives me something different, and she’s never scared to go for it! I will never go anywhere else now, their service is second to none!!

Have loved every experience I’ve had getting my hair done with these girls. From the moment you arrive your made to feel like an old friend. Service and treatment is 1sr class. Wouldn’t go anywhere else ❤️

A stylish, but welcoming salon located in the outskirts of East Kilbride, lots of parking. Wonderful experience from the front desk staff, with very comfortable waiting area if necessary, then through to really open luxurious styling and washing area’s.
Wonderful stylists, whom ever you chose, ever so helpful trainee’s keeping you refreshed in a full choice of tea’s, soft drinks, iced water, not to mention a fully stocked bar!
Treat yourself to a wonderful time and an amazing cut/colour or just a trim, and get treated like a VIP for a few hours.
Both gents and ladies, you know you deserve to treat yourself!

Maria has been cutting my hair now for many years & at various salons until she set up on her own. She has carefully picked an amazing team round her, everyone is very friendly & talented. I recently took a photo in & she copied it perfectly resulting in many compliments on her cut. The only down side if Maria’s singing ????

Not been using the salon for that long but safe to say i will not be going anywhere else again. The girls listen to what you want exceed ecpectations. The customer service from first making your appointment to the second you leave is next to none. Cannot fault this place at all.

Been going to this hairdressers now fir the the last 3 years ...love the hairdresser who cuts my hair but it is the only salon i have ever been to where I would allow any of the staff to cut and colour my hair!

I’ve been coming to 1302 for around five years now. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Girls are fab and the products they use are the best. No hesitation in recommending.

The stylists are all great and they are always very friendly however there is a real issue with them overbooking appointments meaning you are never taken at the time your appointment is for and your hair often takes a long time to get done as the stylist is busy squeezing in yet another client. Even with the overbooking policy it is still extremely difficult to get an appointment so be organised and book a few weeks in advance. Prices are also pretty steep, the "extras" of a "free" bar and a coffee machine could be done away with to reduce the cost. It's quite a loud, vibrant atmosphere so usually not all that relaxing if you want a bit of peace and quiet when getting your hair done.

One of your staff 'Emily' did my mother's hair and she loved it! Defo recommend them.

I moved to Glasgow in 2005 and went from salon to salon, trying to find something similar to what I’d left up north. Everywhere had either overinflated prices or ego’s or both!
I moved to EK a few years ago and the search continued until I found 1302. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming (with staff even running out to feed the meter for me!) and you can always get a great chat. The talents of all the stylists are second to none, and they are all perfectionists. The pride they take in their work makes people return time and time again and I would never consider going anywhere else.

I have used 1302 hair design 3 times now and have been nothing but impressed with every aspect of their service. Great hairdressers always loved my cut and colour, they really go above and beyond to look after you. Resonable pricing too for the service they provide in my opinion it’s great value for money! 10/10

As the title of the review states can't praise this salon enough. Maria always spends time helping me choose my colour and style, making suggestions but not "forcing" her ideas on you. Great friendly atmosphere in the salon too, and all the staff treat you like a friend as well as the client. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else even when I moved 15 miles away from the town.

Maria and the team have been cutting colouring and styling my families hair for many years! What I have loved the most is that over the years as the kids have grown into adults they still use the salon it never goes out of fashion always at the top for ideas techniques and technology. I can have the experience that I want whither it’s in a quiet corner or part of gaggle of happy chatty customers! Never leave disappointed

I’ve been going for a few years now. I love that the girls are all so friendly and the chat is brilliant. They listen to what you want from your cut / colour always achieve what u ask for. They are especially good at colour - mine is now so much more natural but they are also great at making a recommendation for something new

Where do I begin! From the second I walked through the door I felt so welcome the girls are all so friendly. The salon is beautiful and ultra modern, they have an amazing list of drinks on offer and the coffee(I didn't have any) smells amazing. Katlyn cut and coloured my hair and the result was phenomenal, I literally felt like me again for the first time since having my baby.
I honestly couldn't recommend 1302 more highly, it's the best colour, cut, blow dry and over all salon experience I"ve ever had.
I can't wait to go back soon!

I had my hair cut by Lauren. It's amazingly well done. It's a bob with an undercut. I can honestly say that I love it and will go back again and again. Also the new premises are fantastic and there's plenty of parking.

The minute you walk in the door you feel and see such a friendly and happy atmosphere . Happy staff make happy customers . Stylist are professional, extremely talented and up to date date with new trends . Wether you are 16 or 60 your needs are always met . To be made to feel special gives a boost to the customer. We all live busy lives, carry stresses and strains. 1302 visit gives you that window to relax, switch off and be YOU and enjoy the pampering and Care and Respect which you always receive. It is not easy creating good team work and great team work is certainly evident at 1302

Best Hair Dresser. Been going here for years, not only for the great quality hair cuts but for the people too. Best load of people, super friendly and super chatty, always have a good time.

Great salon, been twice, Emily done my hair each time. Over the moon id finally found a great salon, unfortunately i'm only able to get my hair done on a mon, having tried to rebook in Sept was told NO APPOINTMENTS with Emily were available, even requested Oct Or Nov, to be told No Appointments available, so unfortunately i'm now looking for a new salon. Shame because i was so happy there. :-(

I visited the salon for the first time and had extensions put in for my wedding. The girls were amazing, very friendly and quick. The extensions lasted 8 weeks and none fell out. Very well priced. Will definitely be back!

First came to the salon a year or so ago. It really is luxurious. All of the staff are really friendly and down to earth, they listen to what you want, give great advice and always get my cuts, colours and hair-ups spot on. There's also a complimentary bar! I go to Emily but can honestly recommend any of the girls having seen their work. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else now.
