Hi, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your most recent visit to 1302. I'd like to address your points.

Firstly, all of our staff are nice. They go out of their way on a daily basis to be as accommodating as they can be to every single client. Pamela, one of our most experienced stylists who looked after you on the day didn't force you into anything, nor has she ever forced anyone into something they didn't want.

You asked for highlights to be done, the professional and experienced reply we gave was that you would need to have some hair removed as it was broken, split and dry and before we could add any bleach to your hair we would need to work with strong hair. You refused point blank to have any of your hair cut off. You then continually disagreed with the colour of your root before we done anything with it, and continually kept asking for a colour to be added which again professionally we advised that it would probably not take. But you were insistent. Your comment about a stylist being able to work with any type of hair is untrue. Before applying colour or bleach to anyones hair, it has to be in good condition to do so. We would never do anything to cause further damage to a clients hair, which is why Pamela refused to add bleach to your hair without having the recommended amount removed.

I'm finding it hard to believe that you were made to feel uncomfortable, I can believe that you were feeling unhappy because you weren't getting what you wanted. You had every opportunity for this to happen, if you had gone with the stylists advice...but you chose not to. All of our stylists discuss what they are doing with their clients with their colleagues because that's how we improve, by sharing opinions. Not as you say, just agreeing.

It has been over 2 years since you were last in the salon and you have visited other salons in that time, so what we were working with was the remains of what others have done.

Every single client has the option to stay or leave. We gave you our advice based on lots of experience. You didn't want to hear it. You could have left, you decided to stay. Whilst you were here, and after hearing what advice we gave you you were rude and uncooperative.

We have said from the day we opened, almost 16 years ago, that client feedback is so important to us as it will help us grow and improve. So good, bad or indifferent we want to hear it. However where we feel it important to respond with fact, are times like these. Every single one of our team go the extra mile every single day for every single client. And they work very hard. I feel the need to stand their corner when required and on this occasion it is required.

If you had only taken the advice you were given, then you would have left with the colour you wanted. It was your choice. Instead of this, you have tried to pass the blame to us for your bad decision making. And to reiterate your own words ' it is not on'.

If you are looking for a stylist who is going to do anything that you want without any professional feedback, then i'm afraid we are not the salon for you. We work at improving clients hair not damaging it.
