About us

We are a gender-neutral salon and are very proud to say it! We kicked this dream of ours off in 2010 and here we are. Having a good time, and producing beautiful hair is what we are all about!

Our fabulous team of stylists have over 100 years combined experience and it shows. Whilst in our salon you are our guest, and we will make sure your visit is like no other salon visit you have ever had before. Firstly, you will get what you want and not what your stylist wants. If you need advice or guidance…no problem!

Short hair, long hair and anywhere in between you are in very safe hands. We cover all aspects of hairdressing, however where we excel is colour. Balayage colouring, ombre colouring, highlights, lowlights, root fade, free hand painting, ‘Manic Panic’ colouring, colour correction we do it all…and just love doing it!

Our salon has been specifically designed and built from an empty shell by us for you to enjoy. Air conditioning, fresh air ventilation, WI-FI, state of the art sound system, led lighting, bespoke furniture and seating, comfortable and modern washrooms, oh and the best bit…we have a fully stocked bar as well as an Italian coffee machine producing every single cup from fresh beans. Coming to the hairdressers should be an amazing experience and one where you can wind down and relax…so let us look after you in luxury. We pride ourselves in our warm, friendly and inclusive environment we offer here.

We are East Kilbride’s official and only stockists of the acclaimed ‘Morrocanoil’ brand and use nothing but industry leading and proven brands, such as ‘OLAPLEX’, ‘Manic Panic’, ‘evo FABULOSO PRO’ and ‘It’s a ten haircare’. We also work directly with ‘Beauty Works’ to provide the best Russian, Mongolian and Indian remy hair extensions and weaves available to us.

Been going to Katlyn for a long time now over a few years. Previously I could never find a stylist who would cut and colour my hair the way I wanted it as most stylists would cut and colour the way they wanted it, (rushed) and sent you on your way. The front of my hair would be too short and hang in your eyes, the bop would look like a square cut or a DIY cut, it was never quite right. When I met Katlyn, like all stylists before building trust I was a bit apprehensive, Katlyn cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it, to perfection and she gave me some advise on my colour (lose the brown block in my roots to hide the gray) she was right. Some time later getting to know Katlyn, I put my trust in her with my cut and she chose my colours which I have never once regretted as I really love my cut, and as for my different colours to hide my gray hair, she has coloured it to perfection.

As for the salon I have never seen a bunch of girls who are so supportive towards each other as in most salons there can be a lot of negativity between staff, this is something I experienced as a junior a few time many years ago, but with the girls, they complement on each others cuts, they spend time chatting to each other and their colleges clients and they also include each others client within the conversation, they don’t talk over their colleagues clients which is something other salons do..

The atmosphere in the salon is like a day or night out weather you get caught up in the banter and excitement with the conversation between staff members including the owners who are also so down to Earth, or enjoying a coffee and a quiet moment while chatting to staff. Everyone is just so lovely and welcoming, it’s a place that I have always be made to feel part of. Thank you to everyone for just being yous.

This was my first late night opening appointment and I really enjoyed it. I went to salon straight from work and I really enjoyed it. It was very therapeutic and relaxing. I’ve had 3 visits to 1302 now and had my hair done by Jennifer and Hannah. Each visit I feel comfortable and safe and I trust the stylists have my best interests in mind. My last visit was particularly memorable to me because I was having a very bad day and showed up to my apppontment quite emotional. I was embarrassed and not myself and Hannah and the ladies took really good care of me. I even had another salon patron giving me a wee cuddle and I just felt so safe and so at home during a vulnerable time for me. Thank you for being so kind and so real. I’m so pleased to have found you!

Nadine is an excellent hair stylist. I am never disappointed and she always gives the best advice. I’m never sure what I’m looking for but my colour and style is always 100% spot on. We are a gender-neutral salon and are very proud to say it! We kicked this dream of ours off in 2010 and here we are. Having a good time, and producing beautiful hair is what we are all about!

Our fabulous team of stylists have over 100 years combined experience and it shows. Whilst in our salon you are our guest, and we will make sure your visit is like no other salon visit you have ever had before. Firstly, you will get what you want and not what your stylist wants. If you need advice or guidance…no problem!

Short hair, long hair and anywhere in between you are in very safe hands. We cover all aspects of hairdressing, however where we excel is colour. Balayage colouring, ombre colouring, highlights, lowlights, root fade, free hand painting, ‘Manic Panic’ colouring, colour correction we do it all…and just love doing it!

Our salon has been specifically designed and built from an empty shell by us for you to enjoy. Air conditioning, fresh air ventilation, WI-FI, state of the art sound system, led lighting, bespoke furniture and seating, comfortable and modern washrooms, oh and the best bit…we have a fully stocked bar as well as an Italian coffee machine producing every single cup from fresh beans. Coming to the hairdressers should be an amazing experience and one where you can wind down and relax…so let us look after you in luxury. We pride ourselves in our warm, friendly and inclusive environment we offer here.

We are East Kilbride’s official and only stockists of the acclaimed ‘Morrocanoil’ brand and use nothing but industry leading and proven brands, such as ‘OLAPLEX’, ‘Manic Panic’, ‘evo FABULOSO PRO’ and ‘It’s a ten haircare’. We also work directly with ‘Beauty Works’ to provide the best Russian, Mongolian and Indian remy hair extensions and weaves available to us.
