I don't get my haircut very often, but I had a great experience with Cameron back in early July. Firstly, he got me in early as he'd had a cancellation which was a win for me. Cameron made me feel super comfortable, had good chat and I went away feeling confident and looking great.

I love this salon. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Katrine never disappoints, I often leave it too long between appointments and has to tidy up my unkempt hair.

Really disappointed in the service I got last Friday morning. Wasn’t actually seen to until 5 mins after my appointment, was sat down and told that it would be an additional £10 charge because I have long hair… said that I’d never had that the previous 3 times I’ve been to Head Gardener. They then waived it immediately when I said I would just go elsewhere. The stylist then didn’t actually do what I’d asked her to do to my hair and by the time I realised there was only 5 minutes left in my appointment. Really disappointed as the other times I have been to Head Gardener you have been a good service which is why I come back. Will be going elsewhere in future.
Don't normally enjoy being at hairdressers but it was fab! Engaging staff and Linzie cut and styled my hair to perfection. Thank you Linzie, I've been getting compliments all afternoon ☺️

The colour was put on my hair, then I was asked to move out of the chair to sit on the sofa by the door. I then noticed hair colour dropped down my clothes. The stylist was lovely, but I definitely felt like an inconvenience.

I’ve always valued Alison and the team with their advice and recommendations on products too. Their recent addition of Alfa Italia products being the best yet! Not to sound over dramatic, but the new barrel brush that was used in the salon and that I subsequently bought has literally changed the hair game! I have super thick hair, that always requires an element of straightening as I never manage to dry my hair like they do in the salon with Linzie’s magic touch. However this brush has left my straighteners redundant, postpartum fly always contained, sustained shine and I’m fairly sure takes less drying time too! Cannot recommend the team or their products enough! My hair literally has never be so well maintained. Thanks HG team ❤️

I cannot thank Anna and Amy (I hope I got the spelling right!) for their time this morning. As a woman with Autism I find it hard getting my hair cut sometimes, but the salon atmosphere was really relaxed and both Anna and Amy were really gentle with my hair during the cut and colour. The inspo picture I gave Anna matches exactly what I asked for and I couldn’t be more delighted. Some people may say ‘it’s only hair’ but I came away from the salon feeling so special - thank you! X
