It's so disheartening to see how many trainee hairdressers still don't know anything about afro hair. I went there to get my hair done and was very disappointed. First and foremost, the products used to wash my hair were inappropriate, and the blow drying process was painful because of the way the hairdresser brushed my hair, and then just added a product containing salt!!! My hair was dry!!! He ripped so much of my hair brushing it with a thin comb, which is a no-no for afro hair!!! And the straightening part was a shocking, no effort. May this review help hairdressers become more knowledgeable about afro hair, we are in 2023! And be more inclusive for customers that are non white.

I have the most troublesome hair and Poric did a fantastic job with my curly hair which had lost its curl and which he styled with layers so as to get the curl back. Nobody has been able to cut my hair well like this in many many years. I will certainly be going back. Not only this but he is very friendly and welcoming and talks it all through with you first. I cannot recommend Poric highly enough. Thanks so much.

First time i have been to T&G and really excited to get a short hairstyle but very disappointed because the person that did it just cut my hair short straightaway so it became difficult for her to make adjustments. She does not know how to cut with layers, she's doing a parallel cut for layers!! now i end up with layers like a staircase!! I'm not going to put her name but i think she needs more training on mannequins. Sorry to sound horrible.

Poric has been cutting my hair at this salon since 1997. Despite moving away from the area I still travel 1.5 hours each way as I cannot find anyone who can cut my hair like he does. He is always a tonic to visit too and has become a friend. Highly recommended

I have been a client for 7 years and cannot fault the standard of cutting and colouring, the products on offer and the ambience.

Really attentive staff, a lovely atmosphere and great service. There was a slight lack of hot water today but other than that, it was all positive! Su-Ju is a great asset - very talented and thorough - and always very interested in her clients.
