I have been going to Tierney Salon for around a year now and I cannot say how happy I am with the whole experience. I now love how my hair looks and feels, the colour is amazing.

Jason and Beth are so welcoming, you feel comfortable and at home right away. In recent months there have been new staff join the team, who are just as friendly and welcoming. I would 100% recommend Tireney Salon.

Where I used dread hair appts I look forward to my appt now. Beth really listens, understands and is up to date with the kind of haircut I want, which is a bit unusual and androgynous. She is the hairdresser that 'gets' it and I have started to feel relaxed I trust her completely.

Chloe transformed my horrible hair color to wow factor. She took time and care to discuss my color and then did a gorgeous blow dry. I left the Salon feeling very special

She was so kind and the environment in the salon was really welcoming! I was listened to and Beth 100% got what I was saying, something I haven’t experienced at other salons! Always get the best cut and colour, lately we’ve been making some big changes to work towards my “wedding hair” and Beth knows exactly what she’s doing. Her blend is always 10/10.

I came in to see Beth for a cut consultation. I haven’t had a professional cut in a decade and I was feeling quite nervous. Beth was incredible- she talked through everything with such care and listened so well, making me feel completely at ease. We actually proceeded with an olaplex treatment, cut and blow dry today! She explained the entire process step by step which reduced any anxiety I had, and made sure I was a part of the entire process. She was extremely warm, friendly and put me right at ease! Felt like I was catching up with a mate. I felt comfortable to make adjustments during the cut and came away feeling so much more confident, it was everything I could have hoped for! Beth was incredible and I can’t wait to come back for another cut/treatment!! Thank you so so much.

Alex listed to my concerns and managed to achieve exactly what I wanted, not easy as I have very fine and dull hair.Very talented hairdresser with a pleasant personality. Will definitely go back

Had my first appointment at the salon today, on my daughter's recommendation. Extremely happy with my pre cut consultation - Beth understood what I wanted and made really good suggestions too. The final result was perfect. I love it. Even though I live in Wales, I've made an appointment to return in a few months! I felt comfortable with the experience which is very important to me as I'm a bit of a hairdresser avoider! Thank you Beth, much appreciated.

Chloe is amazing - she put a lot of thought in to how to colour (correct) my hair and gave me the look I’ve really wanted for so long . She achieved what other hair dressers could not . I’m so so happy with my hair colour at last . I’m looking forward to having my hair cut by Jason to complete the look . I have been going to Jason for years I have never had a bad experience. The salon is friendly lively and a lovely break from life The team work well together and make you feel welcome and part of the family I just love going there 💕

I took my daughter here on 10/08/24 to get her hair cut- Not only did Alex really listen to what she wanted, he was engaging and really wanted her to be happy. Exceptional attention to detail and was so caring and friendly- she literally bounced out the salon full of confidence- thank you- we will be back!

Amazing time getting a whole new look. Asked for vibrant colours and gave Alex complete control he chose pink, turquoise and puple and together added orange sounds crazy came put perfectly. I ad a consultation before today to talk about what I wanted and to do a skin test ready for today. Thankyou everyone for looking after me 6 hours gone but well worth it😁

Thank you Chloe for giving my hair a great transformation today. You’re so kind and caring and listen to my hair woes and look at my pictures. This is a team salon where everyone gathers around and looks at your hair and help you decide the best way forward. Jason also gives his experience to your hair and helps his stylist to do the best job. I had colour, cut for my curls and a gentle diffused half dry.

Amazing! So much helpful advice given before and throughout. It has made such a difference to the way my hair will be cut and styled in future. I had no idea my hair was so curly!

Chloe done my hair today as Jason was not there she done a lovely colour and cut well pleased with the results thank you.

Took my daughter for a full salon experience she had a butterfly cut with Beth who was absolutely amazing with her. Beth shared lots of tips and listened to exactly what she wanted and made it happen! She left Tierney checking herself out in EVERY shop front. Thanks Beth xxx

Lovely hairdressers took time to listen to what i want regarding my colour but advised best to wait as my hair is week but they did a lovely cut giving my hair a new lease if life with shape and texture 😁 thank you

A brilliant experience! The first time dying my hair (balayage) and I couldn’t be happier with the result! Alex and Jason listened to everything I said and created the exact hairstyle I had imagined. Super friendly and fun atmosphere, they take great care of their customers!

Great little salon with talented hairdressers. Colour experts take very good care to listen to what you’re looking for with lovely outcomes. They have the best products and treatments. My hair has never been to healthy and glossy.

Had a curly cut today with Beth, my first visit to the salon. Only wish I had found Beth years ago.She was lovely, friendly and very knowledgeable. Told me how to care for my curly mop and gave an excellent cut. Have booked in already for my next cut and would recommend the salon. Absolutely love this hairdressers, can’t recommend it enough. Beth has been doing my hair for a year or so now and it has never been this healthy, thick and well cut in my life!!
I started going here when I lived just down the road and now I drive 45 minutes to get there because that’s just how good she is :)

One of the best hairdressers around. I have had both Beth and Chloe do my hair and they get it perfect for me every time. I have tried different salons in and around Hertford over the years and I will never go anywhere else again. It’s a Lovely atmosphere to be in and you’re always included in the laughs and looked after

I’m obsessed with my hair!! Went in today for a root tint and toned down my blonde balayage to a gorgeous caramel bronze! With my poor explanation Jason knew exactly what I wanted and the colour and cut are amazing! Thank you so much Jason - you are THE best xx

Just come home from my appointment and I am absolutely in love with my hair. It has taken me years to find someone who I can trust with my curly hair and Beth has a world of knowledge and knows exactly what she's doing. I have finally learnt to embrace my curls! Thank you Beth 100% recommend.
