Ordinarily I'm a 'hairsalon nomad', always trying different salons. After a disastrous haircut, I found Open and decided to give them a go.
I booked with Elliot, and I'm so pleased I did.
Elliot knew immediately what I wanted to achieve with my hair and worked to make it look great.
The atmosphere in the salon is lovely; Elliot has a fsbulous sense of humour and we spent a lot of my appointment just laughing out loud at funny stories. The salon is full of clients from all different backgrounds which i loved: everyone is welcome.
I was so impressed that I booked my daughters for their haircuts, and I've been back a second time since!

As soon as I entered it was such a friendly atmosphere, felt very welcomed. The staff were so nice and very attentive when it came to drinks and wellbeing. The place itself is very athestically pleasing, each room is a different colour and it is so quirky. I had Dakota as my hairdresser, she was absolutely amazing loved what she did with my hair and we got along really well. Definitely recommend!!

This is the third or fourth time Sophie has cut my daughter’s hair. We were recommended to come to Open, as my daughter has incredibly thick hair which needs careful management. The cut has always been impeccable & Sophie is lovely to my teenager! As an aside, the salon is beautifully decorated & in a lovely part of Hemel. I am always offered a drink while I wait!

Nathan always cuts and colours my hair, I wouldn't want to have anyone else! Today he did a balyage, but freehand, the results are stunning, if you have long dark hair and are 55+ ask Nathan for this!!!! Instant age lift!
Also I must mention Jess, who washed, blow dried and styled my hair, she is brilliant!! Don't think it's just a long hair thing (iykyk!)but she's so gentle and my hair looks amazing! 10/10 Jess!
Sophie was great, listened, advised and then did an amazing restyle.
Sophie listened, advised and understood what I was looking for and gave me a great tousled short bob and also advised on styling techniques and products.

I visited the Open Hairdressing salon in HemelHempstead recently. Jade's worked professionally while doing my hair's smoothing treatment. She Used 72 hair product brand. She listened to what I wanted to achieve and answered my questions patiently. I definitely recommend her as she is a knowledgeable, friendly and a beautiful young hairdresser.

Wanted a different style so trusted Ben to cut my hair and replicate the image on my phone. I have been trusting Ben to cut and style my hair for a few years now and he has never disappointed me. In fact every haircut had been perfect and exactly how I like it. He used a special shampoo on my hair for blondes and the result was amazing. He is always recommending to me different hair products. Great atmosphere in the salon too
