Juanita is so lovely and one of a kind stylist. Urban Green are very lucky.
I’ve been going to this hair salon for a couple of decades now, and have never wanted to go elsewhere. It is situated in a wonderfully old building but has a contemporary air that works very well. Kerry H has many loyal clients, including me. The reason is that she is very talented but never presumes to know better than the client. She listens and understands what the client wants before going ahead. She is easy to talk to but also reads when a client prefers to be quieter. It is no wonder that she is booked up months in advance! The Aveda products are lovely too.
Mathieu's work is pure artistry! I've been a client of Mathieu for a long time and I never stop receiving compliments, he's simply the best stylist and nobody compares!
Great colour and cut with James
The stylist colourist was lovely & professional and I would certainly come back. But the overall colour is not quite as I hoped for, - it was a correction of darker roots after a previous block /light colour which I liked (I explained I liked the colour I had) - but the overall look now is a bit darker than I had hoped. It nevertheless needed doing going forwards and will be far easier to maintain . Thank you.
As usual had the most brilliant 🤩 professional help and came away really pleased

I had the most extraordinary experience having my hair coloured; one of those rare moments where you walk in as yourself and leave feeling quietly transformed ✨
From the very beginning, the consultation felt thoughtful, creative, and deeply personalised. Matthieu took the time to experiment on actual samples of my hair before making any decisions, something I’d never experienced before. It wasn’t rushed or formulaic; it was careful, artistic, and genuinely expert.
His knowledge of how colour behaves and his artistic flair were invaluable in guiding me forward. There was a real sense of craft in everything he did, like watching someone paint rather than simply apply colour.
The team in the salon were attentive and warm throughout. I was treated to a head massage and even a hand massage, small, thoughtful touches that made the whole experience feel indulgent and special. Other stylists even came over, intrigued by the process unfolding, which only added to the sense that something unique was happening.
When the final result was revealed, I was genuinely blown away. The colour is vibrant, beautiful, and feels completely me, but elevated.
I walked out feeling like a woodland queen, grounded, radiant, and quietly powerful, with hair that felt nothing short of magical.

Kerasilk treatment is vegan here, infused with world botany. Ayurvedic castor oil and zea mays corn are just two of a synergy of ingredients that have anti inflammatory properties. As always, Nikki gave me a beautiful layered cut based on our consultation. She noted my request to keep the length and kept all of the length! She asked me about my styling preferences, including my natural parting, to provide me with a realistic expectation on managing my cut at home, and of course offered me a drink and asked if I wanted a head massage. Nikki always asks me about product preferences before using them, and we discussed the condition of my hair prior to the cut. Nikki gave me the cut we decided on together, styled it beautifully and let me swish happily out of the salon feeling like a much better, happier version of myself. Thank you!
