It’s been a challenging year with two lockdowns. Missing hair appointments because of this. Today Sarah has made me feel so much better with an amazing cut and colour as she always does. I’m ready now for working with an easy to manage style.

Sadly, not impressed. Haven’t been here for years and remember why now. Didn’t enjoy the wash (water too hot, nails too scratchy, no nice head massage which is part of the whole relaxing experience?) and don’t like the smell of the shampoo and not sure conditioner was even used. Didn’t feel like it when getting brushed. Very roughly dried and mostly blasted in the ear with the hairdryer. Didn’t feel like a treat at all. Looked dry and frizzy. Cut / trim was ok but just a tidy up really. When I asked about product I was reminded I only paid £37 for a cut and finish. A cut and blow dry would be £57. Surely a little spray to give a bit of shine or make someone feel good or smell nice(r than the wash products)
wouldn’t be too much to bring customers back again? Being very British I didn’t say much but it was obvious I wasn’t impressed. Also being very British I just won’t go there again. I was there less than 40 mins and don’t feel this service was worth £1 per minute.

It is so lovely to be in a place that feels safe and is full of friendly (masked) faces.
CJ is so easy to chat with and he really knows about curly hair. He always checks that I'm happy with the products he uses.

Sarah did an amazing job on my 3yr old grandsons hair. We never know how is he is going to react but Sarah had the patience of a saint and Charlie was relaxed and never made a fuss. Ty xxx

I’m not sure if my hairdressers name, it was a last minute appointment. I booked in, had my hair washed, 1/2 an inch trimmed off and my hair blow dryer using a round brush for some volume. The salon was clean an tidy, there wasn’t much of an atmosphere but that could be down to the fact that we all have to wear masks. My stylist was friendly enough but it felt like i was just another customer on the conveyer belt. I didn’t enquire about the price to start with and just assumed it would be around the £40-£45 mark which is an average price and was so shocked when i was asked to pay £58. It felt rather extreme and doesn’t really reflect the cost of a usual salon experience in the portsmouth area. I’ve paid just under this at a salon is Stratford, London’s westfield before. I had a very simple trim, no restyle, nothing dramatic, I was so shocked i even put up a post on facebook to see if this was a usual price for a trim and every single person (60 people commented) said it was extreme. Im someone happy to pay for a service but this was crazy.

My first visit to a hairdressers in 9yrs. We discussed options and agreed on an appropriate style for my hair type. Clair gave me styling tips for maintaining my hair. I’m thrilled with the results. My faith in hairdressers has been restored.

I turned up with hair full of dry shampoo and a brain empty of ideas! Clair took the time to really evaluate the condition of my hair (not as bad as I thought) and took my vague complaints of “flat” and “doesn’t do anything” and gave me a beautiful cut and bouncy blow dry. I’ve kept most of my length but my hair now has movement and will have more volume when I style it. I met my husband after for lunch and he greeted me with a big grin so it must have looked good!

I came in today for my appointment with Clair, She transformed my terrible lockdown hair into amazing hair, I am so happy with both the colour and the cut, I can’t stop looking at it! I am so delighted with my appointment with Clair today. I had a bayalage and foil technique and my hair styled, Clair knew straight away what was required to do my colour correction and what an amazing transformation. I can in with hair down to my shoulders, not really knowing what I wanted and CJ used his professional insight to transform my hair into something I was proud to walk out of the shop with!

I was listened to throughout about what I wanted. I was given creative suggestions about the cut and styling I could use or not as I wished. I was given advice about ongoing care which will change for the better how I manage my hair. The actual cutting was to an excellent craft standard. The service and personable aspects were also excellent and made it a very enjoyable experience. A huge improvement on anything I have experienced previously.

Lovely colour only two people have said since I left the salon that I have quarter an inch of roots that I can now see ☹️
