Bringing you over 30 years experience & passion in the beauty business, Debbie McIntyre and her team welcome you to Transition.

If you are looking for an established (1996) & trusted, unisex one stop salon treating you from head to toe, for your general beauty essentials, a soothing pamper day or a more aesthethic procedure, our aim is to offer our guests an experience tailored & bespoke to their needs. In extremely relaxing and comfortable surroundings, it is truly an Oasis at the heart of Portsmouth

Our spacious, purpose built and air conditioned beauty salon has a clinic room, two beauty rooms & laser room with two nail bars & make up station to allow clients to watch the world go by. All of our therapists continue to keep up to date with latest developments and trends, with regular training in order to offer our guests the most up to date treatments and advanced, safe techniques professionally.

From the moment I walked in to asked about skin tag being removed the staff were really lovely and friendly, Today I went to have it removed and once again lovely staff, Debbie made me feel relaxed and comfortable and done a great job! I’m going back for a facial in April. And they do a great loyalty card with great rewards! Highly recommend this place!

I feel always welcome in this beauty salon. Staff members are keen to answer the questions I have about the procedures. Since the first time I went there, I always get the best quality results, plus the prices for the procedures are reasonable.

Great customer service, nothing is too much trouble, very professional and knows there stuff! Which isn't surprising since the salon is a long standing business. Felt really comfortable in their hands unlike other places I had visited. Will definitely be a regular client.

This is a lovely salon that has a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The team are friendly and also.delibwey a high standard of service. The prices for treatments are good value and they also do student discount! Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been going to transition for a few years now, it’s a lovely friendly place. I have manicure, pedicure and waxing done by 3 different therapists and it is all done very professionally , I highly recommend this salon .
