Green Mango Natural Salon in Portsmouth

They make me feel unwanted , 2 times they wet my clothes , ruin my tops because of the splash of the colour they put on my hair, make me wait, 6 hrs on the actual booking then come after 2 days to do the patches it takes 2 hrs because of the girl who’s washing my hair didn’t feel like she want to do it. I feel so humiliated in my life.

I had my hair done for £170 and came out with the complete opposite of what I asked for. Appalling and the experience is not worth £170, the style, cut and colour not worth the money.

After I had a brilliant restyle two weeks ago, I booked myself in for flamboyage. I was excited and couldn't wait for it but after I had it I'm really disappointed. My hair looks the same, even worse. From a healthy look now has a burnt look and I can't see any difference in color except the ends which seem a little bit brighter. I did shown a picture with what I want and have been told that it won't look like what I want but definitely much brighter than I have now,

I first got my hair cut and coloured by Mollie in 2017 and I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else anymore. The staff as so lovely and make you feel so comfortable. Mollie understands me as a customer and I trust her to do what she things is best. The best salon I’ve ever been to (and I’m vegan so the fact it’s a natural salon is a bonus too!)

Fabulous salon and a lovely team who make you feel very welcome. The very talented Naomi has just completed flamboyage on my hair and once again I can't praise Green Mango enough. This is the first time I've had this technique and I'm really pleased. We are looking at this now as a work in progress as I have begun a new colour journey from previously having black hair. So this is just the start but I love it and am really excited to see what the next step will produce.

So I came to the hairdressers to get my awkward haircut fixed, never been to green mango before but got told I'd be in good hands and I was indeed. Mollie was so lovely as a person and a hairdresser. Definitely coming back to get my hair done every time. Thanks guys!

Been having my hair coloured by Lauren for a little while now and I can honestly say she is the best hairdresser I have ever had!! Lauren knows what is right for my hair and I always leave feeling beautiful! Yesterday was no exception, the tones she used on my hair look so natural- wouldn't have any other hairdresser!!

I always enjoy my six weekly visit to Green Mango.They are so friendly & welcoming & really listen & you never feel rushed.Excellent hair cutting & colouring by Chris & Lauren. Top quality natural products.

I've been getting my hair cut by Ryan for years. He knows what suits me and I've never been disappointed. Relaxed atmosphere, not rushed at all, just a bit expensive.

I had a haircut with a director, on the 10th March.
I asked for two layers in the back, an inch (at least) off the ends to freshen things up, and curved layers around the face to frame. I did not receive this cut at all.
She only slightly trimmed the ends and gave me no layers at the back.
The layers at the front were done very badly, they are uneven and unprofessionally done.
She said she would blow dry my hair then continue with the cut however, this did not happen.
I am very unhappy with the quality of the job and the final result. I have a photo of the layers at the front which I can send via email if you'd like to see.

Green Mango is my favourite salon in Portsmouth. It has such a good vibe, thanks to Ryan and Chris and the amazing crew. You'll be spoilt with wonderful tea, coffee and drinks whilst getting your hair done. Ryan cuts and colours my hair and I'm never disappointed. He listens to what I'm wanting to be done and will make sure it's perfect.

Chris or Ryan normally cut my hair today I had Naomi who did a great job, listened to what I asked for and paid great attention to detail, really happy thank you x

I've only been coming to Green Mango for the last couple of months but I'm very impressed with Naomi who cuts my hair. She has a really lovely way with her and is great at interpreting what I require. It's a lovely salon, reasonably priced and there's a fantastic array of natural products to buy which smell amazing! If you are looking for a salon with a relaxed and professional vibe rather than one which is hectic and impersonal, you should definitely give it a try.

Excellent as always, Yasmin has cut my hair for years and always remembers me.
Only drawback was the young man washing my hair who did say s**t which whilst Even being in my twenties myself I didn't think was particularly appropriate, also maybe he should stay away from talking about controversial topics e.g racism issue surrounding oscars and Brits, which left me feeling uncomfortable. but I think in general was because he's inexperienced of what's acceptable in workplace. My husband said he found similar experience with who washed his hair last month.
Overall very good experience and will definitely be back to see Yasmin soon!

A enjoyable experience. A relief to have your hair styled to your remit and not for the stylist to get carried away and cut too much off.

Lovely experience and super haircut

I love having my hair done at Green Mango, Portsmouth. I just had a cut and colour by Lauren and it's gorgeous! I'm rubbish at styling my own hair and never know what to ask for but Lauren always knows what will work best for me. The salon is always buzzing, very modern but not in the slightest bit snooty. Plus, the coffee's good too. Fab service all round!

Had a cut today. The hairstylist take their time never feel rushed. Everyone always happy and polite. Great service
