I have been a customer for over 18 years and as always a great cut. Freya is a wonderful hairdresser and understands how best to style to suit you. If there was one nitpic they are a little pricey!

Normally I have good service it’s quick and efficient. However last night my appointment was at 6:30 for a wet cut and they didn’t start washing my hair till 7:10pm and I left at 7:45pm. I thought they could have explained how long they were running behind instead they said they said they won’t be minute. This made me late for my dinner reservation with friends as I was expecting to leave the salon at 7pm as wet cut normally takes under 30 mins. If they had actually explained how long they were behind I probably would have re booked for another day so I was not late for my evening out. Just felt very expensive as it wasted my time I don’t expect to be at the hair dressers 1hr 15 m for a wet cut. I’m sure if I turned up 45m late you wouldn’t fit me in and I wouldn’t expect you too.

It is always a pleasure visiting Strands. The staff are always welcoming and I’ve never been disappointed with my hair. Great service, great staff and great coffee!!!!

I've been coming to strands for around 6yrs and would be very reluctant to go anywhere else. Although Fran is the main person to cut my hair many staff have now done the colour and I have trust in you all. I'm always made to feel welcome and have never come away disappointed with the cut or colour. I would and have highly recommended strands to friends. ?

Felt very welcome, staff are always lovely & happy to help. Coffee & mince pie too, nice touch!! I was having my nails done for my wedding & had broken one. The French manicure was so good nobody noticed. A fabulous atmosphere & always come away feeling great.

I’ve been going to the salon for years now, all of the staff are really friendly, you can tell they’ve been trained to a high standard too. From the moment you step in you’re offered a drink and made to feel comfortable. Special mention to Fran, top hairdresser!

Absolutely incredible experience. The best bit was when Freya unplugged a hair-drying machine half way through a random strangers blow dry and proceeded to make me look at least 6 months younger. For which I am so grateful. The hospitality was fantastic as I was drugged with half a bottle of rose wine despite being a recovering alcoholic, and I then got charged the earth for having a bit of neck hair removed.

I’m joking of course, (or am I?!) been going here for 15+ years and the service and quality is exceptional. Many thanks as always!
