I've been using this salon for a number of years. I've tried other places in between but keep coming back. The staff are all very professional, warm and welcoming. Very pleased with the result as well.

My hair has been rescued & revived, really good instinctive use of products to achieve the tones I wanted on my (previously box dyed @ home hair with regrowth showing) quite a challenge for any stylist but Becky was attentive & confident so I felt comfortable, I enjoyed a treatment & head massage too, a nice latté & caring & friendly professional service as always; Thank you

Amy did styled my hair as I have always wanted it to look, big brushed out seventies curls. She as always chats with me, makes me feel at home and welcome. On top of sharing so many tips. Also want to thank the lovely Lucy for making my hair feel refreshed and revived.

Arrived for my 11 o clock appointment today and was met by receptionist and offered a seat and coffee. My stylist Amy was with me in no time and she discussed my needs and preferences and in no time she got to work in transforming me from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan. She gave a lovely head massage during the shampoo and took me through the various products which would enhance my fine hair. She cut away at my tresses with gentle care and gave me a fabulous blow dry afterwards. She took time in explaining how the various products worked and recommended which would be of value to me. All in all it was an invaluable visit to this lovely salon which I shall highly recommend.

I cannot sing their praises enough. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

As always, just had the most amazing experience with Kelly at Strands, Hill Head. She listened carefully to what I wanted and created a beautiful style which I am over the moon with. Kelly is extremely talented, taking the time to cut my hair with precision and the result is outstanding. She is always professional and courteous and it is an absolute pleasure to visit her in the salon. There are hairdressers and then there is Kelly, who is in another league! Thank you for always making me feel great!

Freya is always so friendly and has been cutting my husband’s and my hair for a few years so she was the natural choice to cut my daughter’s hair for the first time. She made her feel at ease and even kept my son distracted with the iPad! I am never afraid of taking my children into Strands as we are always so well looked after.

I always enjoy my visits to Strands. Becky makes me feel very comfortable and Becky has managed to cut my hair exactly how i like it after Fran left for maternity leave.

I've been coming to strands (hill head) for around 7 years and always had Fran cut my hair, the last two appointments have been with Amy. I've never left the salon feeling disappointed with my colour or cut. Always greeted with a friendly face and a smile. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Decided on a re-style and Amy cut my hair from long layered to a very blunt slightly graduated bob with a new fringe! The style evolved and it was lovely to be part of the process! I’m thrilled with the result and my husband loves it too! Thanks Amy x

A really lovely afternoon at Strands. Amy listened to my requirements and talked through the stages of the treatment and colors. Although the process is fairly long I was completely comfortable and happy due to the hospitality of all the girls who work on a Wednesday. At the end of my appointment my hair looked and felt GORGEOUS, beyond what I was hoping for. Amy knew exactly what she was doing and her company was a joy.
