Chris has been cutting, colouring and styling my hair for 15+ years. Wearing my hair short a great cut is key and Chris always delivers on this. Always a professional and friendly service from Chris and the rest of the team.

I had ana amzing time at the salon, I couldn't be happier. It was so friendly and comfortable. I did keratin for the first time and I absolutely love my hair. Chris has been my hairdresser for a few years now and I totally trust him, he’s fab, I’ve got difficult to handle hair and now the greys have started to take over but Chris always makes it look amazing! There’s an art I think to colouring grey hair and Chris being a colour expert makes me totally relaxed. There’s a lot to be said for feeling comfortable and relaxed when you’re getting your hair done and I always look forward to my visits to Bows and Brushes - top hairdresser at a top salon. Chris always does an amazing job with my hair. I do have problem hair as it’s so thin and weak. I decided to go for a daring pixie cut as a bold step on my journey to embracing grey hair. I didn’t sleep the night before my appointment but needn’t have worried. Chris has created exactly the haircut I’d only dared hope for. My hair actually looks thicker than it has for years. I love, love, love my new cut. Thanks Chris - like I said, you are a wizard with a pair of scissors ?

Every time I visit Bows and Brushes it always lifts my mood - Charlotte and the team are so skilled in what they do I couldn't recommend them enough. But it's more than that - sure you get an excellent hair cut but you also get to have a natter with someone that remembers your stories and takes time to ask how things are!

Brilliant haircut!

Amazing! Jayne asked about my long term goals for my hair were and then cut it in a way that would ensure it will look good as I grow it. It was styled into beautiful ringlets and even specific sulphate free products were used when washing it, which fits it with what I do at home. Can't recommended highly enough!

I always enjoy the few hours at Bowes & Brushes. Jayne always spends time going through what I want and then advising what's best for my hair given its health status at that point but generally working something in along the lines of what I want or we work towards. Always giving the best advice for my type of fine hair.
I wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 stars ?????

Jayne (& other members of her team) have looked after my hair brilliantly for ten years or more. Jayne in particular is incredibly knowledgable and passionate in her work. I have my hair all sort of colours, styles and treatments and nothing is too much trouble.

I hadn't been to a hairdresser in ages, Charlotte was so lovely and has given me a really excellent hair cut. We had a great discussion about colour options and I'm already booked in for my next appointment!
