Jack has been cutting my 2 years old hair for over a year now. He does a fab job working with a boy who doesn’t sit still! He is always happy and keeps our little one calm throughout!

Brilliant

I have curly hair which not all hairstylists know how to cut. Christie is the only hairstylist among the many I have tried in the UK, who does a great job each time. I am very pleased with her work as well as the service we receive at Hob (my daughter loves the experience too and refuses to go anywhere else).

My stylist Mr Paul although mature and hard of hearing was very attentetive When asked to trim my eye brows and ear hairs he paid special attention to my needs I would not hesitate to see him again !!!!!!!

Laurance has been doing my hair for around 25 years and I would be reluctant to let anyone else near it. Laurence is a great cutter and stylist and I would highly recommend him.

My second visit and I was not left dsappointed. Laurence is so knowledgeable and experienced and tells you the truth. I swear he had wings hidden as out of this world.

Fast and efficient

Felt like a million dollars walking out of the salon after having my hair cut & coloured. My hair always looks so shiny after - it doesn’t look like my hair!

He cuts hair with precision and care. My boys enjoy having David as he is very careful with cutting children’s hair and to date they have not had any unexpected scissor cuts.

David is the best hairdresser I've ever had.

Christie is a superb stylist who makes you feel comfortable and always listens to how you want your hair cut and styled.
The salon is always clean and tidy, with a great atmosphere which is down to all the staff there!

I have been doing highlights for twenty years yet this was the Worst highlights experience ever! 4 hours of agony and nothing else... to begin with the Strips of foil covered my eyes and forehead completely. I felt dizzy and hot so had to ask him to clip the foils backwards. My hair was tangled so badly that it took them ages to untangle while shampooing. It hurt so bad that I have a sore head and a dull headache even five days later. New way of ripping clients off is to charge them for toner? Why was I charged for that when It should be part of the highlights process. I told him I don’t want blond highlights and yet they were blond so toner had to be used to correct the colour! £170 and my reddish looking hair later when I was about to leave I was asked to pay £5 for PPE. I said why wasn’t I told this before, he just said ‘i don’t know’.
This is unacceptable! Please explain why are you asking clients to pay for this?? we pay more money to come to your salons expecting better service. No other hair salon or barbers are charging extra for towels and coats. What’s next? We will have to pay for combs too ?

Christie always delivers a fantastic cut I have never walked away disappointed!

I had Alicia do my highlights and she did an incredible job! I haven’t had colour in my hair for years and she did it just what I wanted. Christie has cut my hair for years and as always did a fantastic cut I love it! Everyone in the salon was following guidelines and it was very clean.

Jack is Creative and outstanding as always. Always a real delight coming to HOBS. Clean and friendly staff

David is a perfectionist. I haven’t been to a hairdresser who demonstrates such precision. I’ll be sticking with him for as long as he’s cutting.

Been having my hair cut by Laurence for nearly 25 years, as he’s younger than me I don’t have to worry about somebody else cutting my hair in the future. Hobs have done great job in making the salon Covid safe. I’m totally confident with the measures they have put in place and am happy in the environment they have created.

David did a very careful, excellent blow dry and even recommended a new style that I have booked in for!

Christie was absolutely brilliant! Although not my normal stylist, she had clearly spoken with (and watched) Nicole previously and therefore knew exactly what I wanted doing. But she also had the added pressure of doing my first post-lockdown cut! Yet, it was almost as though Nicole had done it - it was excellent!! Thank you so much! The whole experience was really reassuring, given the wider environment, with the whole team wearing protective equipment. I’d highly recommend Christie and the rest of the brilliant team at HOB Whetstone - easily the best salon around!!
