Hair Essence

I went to hair essence today completely horrendous with my hair and come out completely transformed I was so please with my hair I feel and look better so so happy

I’m one of those who doesn’t get their haircut often and when I do I’ve always gone to the same person. However when I found myself having to look elsewhere I stumbled upon Hair Essence. I’m glad I did, putting trust in someone new to do my hair doesn’t come easy. But Tracey did a fab job! Highly recommend! And with new customers offer it was a bonus. Also I can see owner looks after the place well, modern and clean.

After the worst week of my life I decided to treat myself and to cheer myself up. Tracey is AMAZING. Such an amazing stylist, lovely to talk to really really lovely person. Tracey done exactly what I asked for and even better. I felt amazing when I left the salon. Thank you so much. See again xxxxxx

I visited this salon for the first time I was a bit nervous. I had Tracey as my hair stylist. She made me feel comfortable, knew exactly what to do with my hair and the results were amazing. I'm happy with my new hair and will definitely recommend this place and will be back again soon.

Had half head of highlights and cut and blow dry by Soni. Colours were awesome and just right for my hair colour. Cut and blow dry finished off a perfect trip to Hair Essence.

After many lockdowns, a pregnancy and completing a masters, it was time for me to leave the lockdown haircuts behind. I am new to the area and it was my first time at this salon . Excellent experience with amazing result. After reading all the reviews, I decided to try this salon for the first time. both Charlie and Soni are professional and friendly. I had keratin done for the first time and the end result was AMAZING. Thank you and will book again soon.

Update:

My hair looked great when I left the salon, however when I got home, I noticed that my hair was bleached too much and my top layer of highlights have fallen. Soni and Charlie recommended me come back after 6 weeks, however I am not going to make another appointment. This is the most disappointing experience I ever had at a hair salon. Not even sure how am I going to fix my hair..

The staff is very nice, nothing to comment on that, but the fact that my hair is damaged now, makes me question their expertise. This situation also made me reconsider my overall score regarding this hair salon.

As always a very pleasant experience. Soni is a brilliant colourist and stylist. Bev is very bubbly and makes you feel very comfortable.

I booked an appointment with Hair Essence for the first time, based on the internet reviews. As I needed a complete look change, I had a root colour and balayage completed with cut and blow dry by Charlie. The result is stunning, beyond my expectations. Thank you, Charlie, for listening carefully to what I want and for all your care, suggestions and patience you had with me.

Big thank you to Soni as well. I had a consultation with her prior to my appointment with Charlie, as she wanted to make sure that I am not allergic to the hair dye. Soni is such a knowledgeable person, a true hair expert. She did make some great suggestions, and I took them on board immediately.

Overall, I had a great experience, the staff is really nice and welcoming and I would definitely recommend this salon to everyone.

I came in with very coarse thick tangled hair and a self cut fringr that went wrong. Thanks to Charlie whos first day it was today at the salon, i came out with layered soft beautiful hair and my fringe looks so much better. Not only that, claudia helped me really relax with a soothing hair wash and massage which i really needed. There was another lovely lady there too whos name i didnt get but all of them worked so well as a team. Helping out each client in turn juggling tricky and basic hair goals. Loved the atmosphere and felt really cared about. Look no further..this hairdressers really is the little gem of collier row

Excellent cutting by Soni- I have thick wavy hair and some stylist moan my hair is too thick. Soni says I have great hair to work with, and she never has any trouble cutting it. I also have two tone highlights that is a rich colour that looks extremely natural- always so happy with the service!

Soni is a great hairdresser. She understands my thick, unmanageable hair and thins it out creating a style that looks great and most importantly I can manage. She listens to my ideas and is very professional. The salon is very clean and I always feel safe there.

I was walking past Hair Essence when I got a sudden urge for a manicure. I'm a 53 year old man so was totally out of my comfort zone. I was made to feel completely welcome as soon as I walked in and was looked after by Fatima. Fatima, along with all the other staff, was very friendly and did an excellent job sorting out my very grubby man nails. The social distancing was very strict and everybody was wearing masks which made me feel very safe. The shop was spotless and very nicely laid out. I would absolutely recommend Hair Essence to both female and male friends and family.
I've not a regular customer to hair and beauty salons so can't compare with others, but I've given 5☆ because I enjoyed my time there so much,
