It wasn’t a straight forward colour change & I felt in very safe & experienced hands with Mahshid. Delighted with the result!
After 27 years of colouring my hair, this year I decided to embrace the grey and I booked a grey blending session with Ed on Saturday 18/4/26.
To say I’m happy with the result would be a complete understatement! It goes far deeper than how it looks visually. It’s about how Ed has made me feel about myself and the pride he’s helped me feel in my natural silver and grey hair.
I grew my hair out for two months and Ed worked absolute magic. From the moment I arrived, he took so much time and care to explain every stage of the process and manage my expectations as I was nervous as hell! Even though I’ve known Ed a very long time (over20years), he was still so professional and honest with me which meant a lot. He explained everything clearly and set realistic expectations and then completely overdelivered!
There are lots of transformation videos online but, the reality is that this is a highly skilled process and can be very challenging to get right. Ed’s experience really shows…
I also have to mention the cut, which was just as brilliant as the colour. It finished everything perfectly and gave my hair movement and shape, and made the blend look even more beautiful.
I honestly can’t express how grateful I am to Ed and his team for the confidence and freedom they’ve given me through this beautiful grey blending session. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I had a bit of a nightmare appointment with a different salon and I ended up with stripey yellow highlights. I came in and spoke to Mahshid and she really listened and did everything she could to help. Also fitted me in very last minute to get me sorted out before my holiday. She did a root smudge and toner to make everything look much more natural and I’m so happy with the result.

Technically Kriya is very good and she’s now done my hair twice, both times I’ve been very pleased. The reason I was felt disappointed this time is because the trainee washing my hair was rough and kept pulling my hair even when I advised it was hurting. She then kept leaning over me to apply toner to the other side, instead of walking round. At a salon of this calibre trainees should be taught to have a level of basic knowledge and skill which I didn’t see. Towards the end of my appointment it felt short staffed as Kriya had to go and speak to clients arriving through the door. I’d been there nearly 4 hours at that point and was ready to leave, so this made the experience feel clunky and poor value considering the price I paid. I’m usually such a big fan of EJ salons, but this time I felt I had been short changed and although I am happy with my hair, the client experience needs improvement.

What an absolute gem this hairdressers is, felt a real treat with its opulent interior and excellent customer service. Ellie was wonderful, really knowledgable and made me feel totally at ease given I had found this place as a stop gap as I couldn’t get to my usual hairdresser in town, will definitely return. The only negative I would say is the water was tepid when I had my hair washed, the girl did try to rectify but it didn’t really happen. Doesn’t put me off coming back. Especially as I can have my regular 4 week colour there too. A fabulous find which was right under my nose in my hometown the whole time.

Desperately needed my hair cut and Vicky gave me such a nice cut. She did a beautiful job with long layers and went slowly so I didn’t feel uncomfortable. Blow dry was also 10/10. Massage pre cut was lovely touch too. Best I have felt leaving a salon in years!

Had a good consultation first where Dejan 100% understood I needed something low maintenance. And we were both aligned with the cut I wanted. He also styled it exactly how I wanted. This was one of the rare times I've actually really been happy with my short hair. I've loved it so much that I can't think about having long hair again. Will be visiting again to maintain the same haircut as it just works perfectly for me and my lifestyle.

Macy was great, worked out with little information what colour I needed and did a diligent job and a great blow dry.
Little disappointed with head massage as it was previously amazing but was done by maybe someone very new to job so very light and quick. Also the amount of hairspray smell and visible haze that was present was worrying as all windows closed.hair cut great, stylist amazing
