Dejan is an amazing stylist, he listens to not only what you want for a look but what your lifestyle is to make sure he gives you the best cut. The salon itself is beautiful, the massage and hair wash is magic. The price point also feels fair. Come here and see Dejan if you need a great experience.
This was just the pre-Christmas pick-me-up I needed. I’m perennially clueless about what to do with my hair and Ed understood this immediately. Best colour I’ve had in years and the tiniest tweak to a very simple cut that made all the difference.

What an absolute gem this hairdressers is, felt a real treat with its opulent interior and excellent customer service. Ellie was wonderful, really knowledgable and made me feel totally at ease given I had found this place as a stop gap as I couldn’t get to my usual hairdresser in town, will definitely return. The only negative I would say is the water was tepid when I had my hair washed, the girl did try to rectify but it didn’t really happen. Doesn’t put me off coming back. Especially as I can have my regular 4 week colour there too. A fabulous find which was right under my nose in my hometown the whole time.

Kriya was the best hair stylist I’ve ever had! I got a gorgeous full head of highlights and it turned out perfect! The staff at at Edward James Richmond were so friendly and made the experience very comfortable.

Desperately needed my hair cut and Vicky gave me such a nice cut. She did a beautiful job with long layers and went slowly so I didn’t feel uncomfortable. Blow dry was also 10/10. Massage pre cut was lovely touch too. Best I have felt leaving a salon in years!

I arrived panicked and stressed because another place had given me a dull and horrid hair colour. Had a good consultation first where Dejan 100% understood I needed something low maintenance. And we were both aligned with the cut I wanted. He also styled it exactly how I wanted. This was one of the rare times I've actually really been happy with my short hair. I've loved it so much that I can't think about having long hair again. Will be visiting again to maintain the same haircut as it just works perfectly for me and my lifestyle.

Macy was great, worked out with little information what colour I needed and did a diligent job and a great blow dry.
Little disappointed with head massage as it was previously amazing but was done by maybe someone very new to job so very light and quick. Also the amount of hairspray smell and visible haze that was present was worrying as all windows closed.hair cut great, stylist amazing

Edward James is an exceptional salon and Natalie is the best hairdresser I’ve ever had. The space, the vibe, the coffee, the service- and the styling and colours of course - it’s outstanding. I visited recently and was having a tough day - the care shown is above and beyond.
I haven’t done much, a few highlights and a quick cut (2cm). Way too expensive.

My stylist was very sympathetic but I’ve been disappointed by the service provided. It felt rushed and neglected. I asked for a black hair colour and applied dark brown to my roots without permission. I wanted to cover my roots as my hair is black and it’s not the result I wanted, I don’t know why my roots and length are two different colours now. The cut was not so good. I have thin hair and wanted volume with proper layers. A shear scissor was used and now my hair looks more thin with uneven lengths and missing parts. I had to wash my hair going home as my scalp was hitching, the rinsed water was brown, the shampoo was not done properly to remove the hair colour. My scalp has been irritated all day yesterday. Very disappointed experience.

Lovely salon and always happy with the results. Unfortunately on this occasion I was left waiting for 40 minutes after my appointment time was meant to be before I was seen to with no communication as to what was happening. I understood later that there was staff sickness and it was difficult to prevent, however I would have appreciated someone explaining what was happening and at least offering me a drink during this time! However I will continue to go as I completely trust them with my hair and I do think it was an exception. Kris was great and did an amazing cut and keratin treatment my hair looks 10 times better. (Vicky usually colours and cuts my hair and is 10/10) would recommend both of them.

Unfortunately I had the start of a migraine at my appt with Macy 2 days ago so I wasn’t as fully present as i normally am. I initially had photos but wasn’t on my game to talk much so I gave very little detail on what I hoped to achieve. It actually ended up in my favor because she worked her magic into something way better than anything I could have asked for. Macy is a genius with color! Whatever hair sorcery she did looks amazing and compliments my skin tone better than I could have imagined. Macy is fantastic and the salon is such a great vibe overall. It’s a beautiful space that centers around making clients feel comfortable.
