I had a lovely haircut of my choice one year ago.but haven't been there since lockdown My hair badly needing a haircut now .cant wait till its open

Toni is always reliable, friendly and professional. I've had a number of stylists over the years at T&G Ilford and they have always been excellent, but Toni is particularly good - I always get the perfect cut, and it doesn't take a long time either. It goes without saying that I'll be coming back, so thank you for a consistently great experience!

Wonderful stylist always happy

Not sure if its expected. I did hair smoothing today and it ended not that good. Now the hair sticks to scalp and its very frizzy now. Can’t even manage the hair now. The primary reason i opted for smoothing is to manage my hair and unfortunately now its not happening.

I haven’t had my hair cut in 5 months and I absolutely love my new style. I felt relaxed and welcome.

The front desk staff were miserable and not welcoming at all which considering the high prices, the services levels should be high. The stylist was great though.

Excellent customer service, Merita, Safeeyah and Abi did an amazing job and I would definitely come back again, I came before a few times to get my hair done and was never disappointed with the service.

Until recently I have had a wonderfully positive experience at Toni and Guy. However, my most recent visit was disappointing to say the least. I decided to go for ash brown for my balayage, which was lighter than I usually go. My stylist was very attentive and lovely throughout. However, when she dried my hair, the front sections appeared to be a coppery colour and the bottom sections a lighter shade. I thought it would be ok as I was being seen to by a professional. A few days later I really wasn’t happy, so I decided to go back. I was seen to again and there was an attempt to rectify the issue. The issue hasn’t been resolved. I look at my hair and I am really disappointed with not only the colour (it appears to be four different colours, which don’t compliment each other very well), but I am really unhappy with how the colour has been applied. Unfortunately the blending of the colour appears to have been done in a haphazard sort of manner and it really doesn’t look natural. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but felt inclined to as every time I look at my hair my heart sinks. This is really not the service I expected from a company that prides itself on delivering superior hairdressing.

Merita was very nice. She gave me some idea of two colours to have & they worked very well. Like my hair colour. She chatted a bit but not all the time, which I prefer.

Merita coloured my hair and literally the outcome blew me away! She listened to exactly what I wanted and ensured I am comfortable and aware of what is happening throughout the process. It was my first time getting my hair coloured and therefore was a little anxious. However, she was professional, friendly, welcoming and just overall so amazing. I could not be happier. Also, to add, Safeeya was extremely friendly and guided me from the beginning. It felt really good to be in a salon where they have time for you, and go that extra mile for you! As a soon to be bride I could not be happier with my hair and most importantly the service I recieved today. Thanks a million Merita and Safeeya!!!! Will be coming here regularly and would definitely recommend to others.

I was excited to have finally booked my appointment for a cut and colour.. for religion reasons I requested for a concealed area which I was informed was possible, therefore I agreed to book.. sadly I was placed in what was a unoccupied room that was being used like a store room, I was made aware that I would have to washed my hair on the shop floor Prior to booking which I agreed to. But the room I was placed in, had no mirrors and felt like I was in a dingy place.
The colour look I requested was not done but But I was assured it was.. After having worked a stressful week I didn’t even bother and just agreed to pay..
I was honestly upset.

Elsa is honestly the TOP OF THE TOP. Not only was she here for the gossip and giving me and my friends advice and joining in on our conversation. She was the kindest soul, her hands ARE MAGICAL. You really know HOW TO WORK IT SISTER. I absolutely loved my experience, everyone were so sweet and just had the greatest experience. Thank you so much Elsa, you’re amazing at what you do.

Thank you Elsa for giving me such a wonderful haircut, which I am always so pleased with. You always know exactly what I want and you are highly experienced in giving me that textured haircut all nicely blended, which a lot of other hairdressers fail to do! I can always trust you to work wonders on my hair!

The stylist was Louise but her name isnt in the options. Louise did exactly what I wanted - short layers and choppy hairstyle but kept my length. I had a treatment and my hair looks and feels so nice and healthy. Louise was fab, she is the best hairdresser I’ve ever had.

I forgot the lady’s name that did my hair but she was so lovely and I’m really happy with how my hair turned out I was also like to say the lady that washes my hair was very nice and made me feel very relaxed

I thought the service was excellent and great the stylist was very professional and I was happy with the way she did my daughters hair my daughter looked amazing and I am very pleased with the result definitely happy I came to toni and guy Ilford and too have hair done by professional people who know what they are doing is absolutely fantastic highly recommended toni and guy to everyone best service thank you so much marital and all the staff.

After a great first experience I went back for a second time. Had a completely something else in my mind.. the haircut itself is not great either. Uneven sides and the back looks awful. I regret this one a lot even after two weeks.Will not be back I am afraid.

Great professional but friendly service as always!

Almost satisfactory. Hair tint refresh was good but the treatment of my hair was not good. Even after mentioning that I have a sensitive scalp my hair was washed like a pair of dirty jeans. There are only so many times you can say be gentle. I like when Elsa does my hair tint, will stick to her in the future. This was a deviation from my usual appointment and I had to go with someone else. In the future I will plan my appointments in a better way so that I can book Elsa’s time only. She knows what she is doing and she is considerate of my sensitive scalp.
