Maia is as always impeccable, professional and expert. She is sympathetic, appropriately and promptly anticipating any customer request! I always feel in good hands with her, taken care, and sent home satisfied and keen to go back the following time.
I had the fringe trimmed by Veronica, after the blow dry: she was lovely, mannered and absolutely competent, meeting my request in full!
The blow dry, across the whole experience, was the least enjoyable: a young man (I didn’t ask the name) with a dragon on his black jumper (not the cleanest either), took care of washing and drying my hair. He accomplished the task but, regardless I did notice his young age and rather junior level, and regardless I didn’t include a blow dry in my booking for today, so not expecting a full service in that respect, I found his service rather ‘rough’! He did ask multiple times if the water temperature was good and his hand pressure was ok. So I appreciated the effort. The drying service instead was poor: having a long fringe I expected to be asked where the partying was going, and not to have long hair from the back of my head to be pulled on my face to be dried and then with the hair dryer pointed to my face blown back to free up my face…. The long fringe (then trimmed after by Veronica) was shapeless, with the hair pointing in any directions! Veronica then, to trim it had to re-do the blow dry to be able to trim… and fix the result! I should have told him, but I thought he had his own technique and expected he would have rectified in some way what he did … I’m generally flexible and understanding, not making situations difficult, but given the level of the service offered at Gary Ingham Salon, I found today (wash/dry) experience not good at all, actually disappointing!

The young man in question is new and has only been with us for a couple of weeks. Although he's very experienced, he clearly would benefit from some additional and immediate training on the way we do things and the level of customer service we expect. Thanks so much for letting us know. x
