The experience with davide is always exceptional. He listens very intensely and thoughtfully and takes time to translate what he has heard and maybe add some of his own suggestions into a haircut that is flattering, fun and artistic. He is always adaptable to the moment, never relying on just doing what we did before without thinking and consulting. He takes his time and really cares.
I wanted to leave a review because he is such a talented hairdresser and lovely person too. but I thought twice as I selfishly don’t want to create further difficulty for myself in getting an appointment with him. I am clearly not alone in loving what he does…

Just love everything about this salon but most of us the wonderful hairdresser that is Davide.

I’m a faithful at this salon and have been so for a while. Not for one moment do I worry about what might happen. Hair styling - it can be stressful. But not here. Each stylist is professional and highly skilled, in my experience very intuitive and it’s just a lovely haven to relax in. Not sure I could ever go anywhere else! Thank you to the whole team.

Preeti is lovely and was helpful in advising me on my cloud options. Also offered a great head massage which was extremely relaxing.

Maia is as always impeccable, professional and expert. She is sympathetic, appropriately and promptly anticipating any customer request! I always feel in good hands with her, taken care, and sent home satisfied and keen to go back the following time.
I had the fringe trimmed by Veronica, after the blow dry: she was lovely, mannered and absolutely competent, meeting my request in full!
The blow dry, across the whole experience, was the least enjoyable: a young man (I didn’t ask the name) with a dragon on his black jumper (not the cleanest either), took care of washing and drying my hair. He accomplished the task but, regardless I did notice his young age and rather junior level, and regardless I didn’t include a blow dry in my booking for today, so not expecting a full service in that respect, I found his service rather ‘rough’! He did ask multiple times if the water temperature was good and his hand pressure was ok. So I appreciated the effort. The drying service instead was poor: having a long fringe I expected to be asked where the partying was going, and not to have long hair from the back of my head to be pulled on my face to be dried and then with the hair dryer pointed to my face blown back to free up my face…. The long fringe (then trimmed after by Veronica) was shapeless, with the hair pointing in any directions! Veronica then, to trim it had to re-do the blow dry to be able to trim… and fix the result! I should have told him, but I thought he had his own technique and expected he would have rectified in some way what he did … I’m generally flexible and understanding, not making situations difficult, but given the level of the service offered at Gary Ingham Salon, I found today (wash/dry) experience not good at all, actually disappointing!

Hair colour and cut is fabulous as always. Unfortunately, the overall experience was well below what it should be. The salon was freezing cold (even though I was told it wasn’t!), the coffee was undrinkable and the young person that washed my hair, coughed over me multiple times and clearly didn’t have a clue what he was doing. The manager was made aware of the issues I raised but didnt feel it was necessary to discuss the issues with me. Terrible customer service which would put me off going again: really disappointing as this use to be a fantastic salon and just isn’t anymore.

Veronica is amazing - she knows curly hair and its rebellious nature. She used a special brush for curly hair today and my hair looks fabulous.

Thought I had the best cut ever the first time Hiro styled my hair, earlier in 2025. He has surpassed himself this time. The style he has given me is beautiful, taken a few years of my age, too. The cut is beautiful, precise and delicate. It’s light and balanced and I LOVE it!

Love coming here. Know it’s gonna be perfect every time. Have been coming a while and they’ve always served up perfection. Holly is considered more junior but love and trust her. She’s done balayage, and normal highlights for me. She’s a total perfectionist - really knows what she’s doing.

Gary Ingham in Hampstead is my go-to hairdresser when I need expert colour, precision cutting, and a style re-fresh. The service and salon is a cut above - you can see how much care goes into making sure every client has a first class experience. Gary himself is a leading light in British hairdressing, and the team behind him are the next generation in talent.

Holly is fantastic, always leaves my hair with a beautiful tone, brilliant colourist.

I cannot recommend the salon highly enough! Despite its swanky location, the salon has a relaxed, friendly vibe which NEVER feels intimidating. Both Davide and Gary are masterful, attentive stylists. They listen to what you want, as well as offering their own ideas. My previously sad, menopausal hair has never looked better since discovering the salon.

I love this salon. All the hair stylists are great - would trust them all. Holly is awesome does exactly as you ask or does advise if I ask (every time lol)
